5 categories, enter up to one picture for each.

How you interpret the category is up to you.

How voters interpret the category is up to them.

Whether voters pick photos with the most technical expertise, the wittiest intepretation of the category or the fluffiest pet is also up to them!

No archive pictures allowed -you must take and post your masterpieces between now and Midnight eastern on April 30th.

Entrant with the most wins wins, in the even of a tie, the one who has set the treasure hunt the least often or least recently gets it. If It's still tied, then the oldest gets the honors. Prize is to pick the categories for treasure hunt 8.

No offspring or fluffspring may be harmed in the making of these pictures.

My dad would be honored! Blame all the beers on him! We were cleaning up yesterday (whoa, lotta work) and he stopped out. Said he hasn't felt rough like that in a long time. He also started early, at a golf outing that morning. ;)

I took my camera along on a walk at lunch, and just 5 seconds after my memory card was full, I realized a guy standing next to the public library was taking a leak on the sidewalk. It would have been a shoo-in for "illegal."

Oh c'mon glatt - you coulda deleted a couple pics of the kids for that one~

I totally could have, but that would have taken like 10-20 seconds..

-power the camera back on
-switch selector knob to playback mode
-push arrow button once to the right to select first (oldest) picture on the card
-push delete button
-push arrow up to select yes
-push confirm button to actually delete it
-turn selector knob back to picture taking mode
-aim at dude
-zoom in
-push shutter button halfway down to pre-focus
-push shutter button down all the way to take the shot

Guy would be kicking my ass by then. He looked like a mean Wesley Snipes and didn't seem happy that I saw him pissing.

your laptop is wide aspect ratio and ginormous.

when i looked at the bank sign last night, i thought you had taken a picture that only captured the left 3/4 of it..... it still looked good, because the word 'bank' was cut off of the big letters, but just fit underneath where it says 'full service bank.'

jinksay's pics look fine-size to me. It's Obama day here in the The Deuce tomorrow. Nightmare trying to get the kids to their various games. We got lucky, no need to cross town, although we do need to cross the main route into town....

Using modern technology, I was able to "scrape away" some of the top layer of the paint in Glatt's picture, to reveal a hidden masterpiece, heretofore only hinted at by the unusual and yet strangely haunting sticks....

There were some outstanding pics this outing. I love these 'Treasure Hunts'. When Monster or Jim or whoever else knows how makes up the voting polls, we'll see which of these pics gets to make the trip to the podium to pick up their medals. O.K., there are no medals, you do get to say "I won!", though. :)

Well Jim's (almost) clearly the winner with two (up in the air and signage) and then Music is mine, and illegal and clear are preety close and could use some more votes.
