Here is a video of a talk given by L Gordon Moore, MD on how great primary care can save the US healthcare system.

This is an excerpt of a longer talk and the culmination of a several year study involving hundreds of practices across the US.

The video runs about 35 minutes.

I'll have to get back to you on that one.

I like how his solution completely side steps the government. It's in the best financial interests of corporations to offer good primary care.

...for our generation, but starting now may be the best hope for those to come.
I finally watched it last night. got distracted a few times... liked what I saw. Interesting.

A majority switch in Congress could kill the current plan by leaving it unfunded. Not that I would look forward to another extreme swing from one party to the other, because I would not.... but that would do it. We don't need to wait a generation.

I watched it again a second time and took notes. I think his general premise is sound but I would like to see more of his data, he presents a number of studies without reference.

This is totally not what the Obamacare plan invisions.

Yeah, the talk was over an hour and this was cut down. It should have refs to a website to look more closely at the studies.
