Spring Has Sprung

I guess spring is officially here.

Today I saw a dove sitting in a hanging pot on the clothes line. I said to myself, "Self, that's an odd place for a dove." The pics tell the rest of the story.

14 degrees F here this morning, Spring is postponed until further notice.

It is gonna take a flock of those for a decent meal though spud.

And, yes, I think that is 'hens & chicks'.

There isn't much nesting material in that pot.Maybe she had to lay those eggs fast. :)

Just needed a perimeter to keep them in the center, she had that nice soft green stuff to lay the eggs on.

I suppose. I wonder how she's doing.

Slowly, at 350F with a little sage and onion, I suspect.

Just a shade under 80 degrees F here today as I sit here typing this from an open air coffee shoppe. We had nine inches of snowfall ten days ago.

Snowed here yesterday, gorgeous t-shirt weather today.

That's about 75 feet! She ain't that trusting.

no, I meant the fact she is on a low hanging pot on a clothesline and out in the open.

I'd feel especially blessed if a dove took roost so close to my viewing pleasure.:)

When the Daffodils flower it must officially be Spring. They're two to three weeks late this year.
