monster, did I ever tell you my Alan Alda story? In HS my best friend called the William Morris Agency to request that he attend my birthday party, because I was his "biggest fan." I'm sure whoever she spoke with got a big chuckle out of it...but a few months later I got a big brown envelope (I think from Universal Studios?) and inside was an autographed picture of Alan Alda. It said "To (Shaw), Peace! Alan Alda"
