Venus de Rahway, in the tradition of the Alexandros of Antioch's famous statue, Venus de Milo.
Except she's in Rahway, New jersey... and made of snow. ;)

"Curvaceous, bodacious and booty-licious," said Elisa Gonzalez, a court reporter who built the snow goddess with her daughter, Maria Conneran, 21 and son, Jack Shearing, 12.

She attracted a lot of attention and admiration... people even stopped to take pictures.

But then...

When the officer arrived, Gonzalez said, he was apologetic and appreciative of the snowlady and her assets.
"He said, ‘It’s very good,’" Gonzalez recalled.
Despite his appreciation, the officer then asked the family to dress the snowlady. Nonplussed, they complied with a green bikini top and a blue sarong around her ample hips.

Instead of enforcing the law, the poor cop is sent out on a political correctness mission, enforcing "community standards" set by a few puckered butts.
At least they didn't get maced, tasered, hauled off to the hoosegow.:rolleyes:

The fact that they were asked to put clothes on the snow lady makes me very sad and sort of pissed. Is there a LAW that says I can't have a naked statue of snow? Coz i wouldn't put a bikini on her. Maybe pasties and a G-string. Would that make grandpa feel better?

You reminded me...when I was pretty young my older cousin and I were looking through an art book. She told me that the Venus de Milo was a statue of a woman who couldn't stop biting her nails, and ended up chewing her own arms off!

I was like "wow, really?"

So, I've been trying to chew my own arms off so I can be commemorated in this way. I've gotten through part of one thumb.
