I picked up the puppy today. 1st. line on papers states it's Tan/wirehair. Next line says Dachshound, miniature. Smooth Haired. You be the judge. BD. 11/26/09. 6 pounds.
They say the name is Sarah. Hell lets change it.

What a cutie. You know that one is a sweetheart.

I'm trying to think of a sweet, feminine name that would work for her...

Oh, what about Sadie? Using sibilance in a pet's name is always good.

Treat?

A soft mocha gal with big beautiful eyes... Halle

Dachshounds usually have longer noses... at first I thought border terrier.

Hazel.

When I saw the thread title (not the cuteness picture), I thought you were trying to name a kitchen appliance. I see that you still are, but not the one I originally thought. But anyway, the first association I came up with on the title was that sitcom, with Shirley Booth, where she played the maid?
Pico and ME • Feb 10, 2010 9:41 am
I thought of her too.
xoxoxoBruce • Feb 10, 2010 11:32 am
How did she like the ride home, Buster?

Aim at puppy pad isn't the best yet.
Name is now Buddy, cause that's what I call dogs when I'm talking to them. Like, come on Bud or Buddy let's go out.
BrianR • Feb 10, 2010 1:28 pm
Buddy is what Newfoundlanders call anyone of unknown name.

Jellybean is my CB handle. Both good names!
