Treasure Hunt 2

Here it is, everyone! Round two.

You have until midnight on December 27th to take and post one picture in each of the following concepts/categories. No archived pictures allowed.

Then we'll vote on the best in each category. One point scored for each favorite pic.

The person with the most points sets the next treasure hunt. In the event of a tie, the oldest poster gets the honor.

As always, the person with the most points when we all tire of it is the bestest ever and gets kudos and stuff.

1) Symmetry
2) Polished
3) Cold
4) Soft
5) Red

Everyone is encouraged to vote. Posting ends on December 27th at midnight Cellar time, and voting begins when I or someone else gets around to creating those voting threads.

If you wanted to join in last time around, but didn't, this is you chance now.

Someone didn't plug their brain in this morning. Why would we be interested in that picture? Even if you had taken it yourself, after the categories were revealed, you haven't said which category it's supposed to be in ...and to be honest it's not obvious either so it ain't gonna win.

I apologize :sniff: I didn't read the rules til after posting. And no, it wasn't really a serious submission. And for the monster that doesn't like thinking for itself, it was an attempt at all 5 categories at once (which I feel is a more interesting challenge than 5 pictures.) (And is also why I don't have a serious submission.) (And I'd take it down if I was allowed to edit.)

I knew what you were trying to do (I'm smarter than the average monster) I was teasing you -don't taze me bro! There is no worse crime here, though, than posting without reading. The punishment is a severe teasing. Possibly with a little ppunning too. You got off lightly. Now get your camera out and really be a part of the forum....

I did not name her she came to me with the name Red. How convenient for this thread ;) Here she is with her new babies. . .

I almost chose a finished box of chocolates for the word'polished' but stick to a more literal interpretation.

I thought the lighting made it somewhat soft.

Unfortunately both of my memory card converters have wandered off (jim left one at his moms xmas eve and spencer lost the one last night) so I can't get any pictures off my camera.

nope. i'm working on mine but thor's first hockey tourney is taking up a bit of time.....

All right, let's say the new deadline is midnight Cellar time on Sunday, January 3rd. That's a one week extension. Get those cameras out and find those card readers!

Well so far it's one each for undertoad, glatt, jinx, bullitt and me. A little research tells me that puts UT in the hot seat for choosing the next five categories if it stays that way
