This one I've had saved from MSNBC Week in Pics for about 3 months, waiting for the right opportunity. Don't ask what opportunity today is, because I really have no idea. But I do think the picture is pretty cool.

Their caption: Dancers from the Australian Dance Theater fly through the air on June 26 during rehearsals for "The Age of Beauty" -- a show that fuses ballet, martial arts and acrobatics -- at the Sydney Opera House.

'cept it's not from above, it's from below. Oh well.

I don't know what the occasion is, but I like it. Very cool image.

I'm wondering what the angle for this is, but I'm too lazy to think it all the way through.

Fantastic thread title! The disinformation causes the viewer to misperceive the perspective. The power of suggestion!

It looks more like Ballet from In Front. It looks like they're all leaping to the viewer's right, and that patterned surface is the back wall. Though that one with the hair all wild is hard to explain.

But what do I know? I could be wrong.

Why are they all wearing tidy-whities?
juju • Sep 23, 2002 11:13 am
I think the phrase is "tighty-whities".

God's verdict is clear: You must wear "Tighty-Whities."
