So, what... Emma got banned for being adolescent and ungraceful? In this thread anyway, she looked more sinned against than sinning. Ibbie in particular was being uncharacteristically assholic. If he's not on the het wavelength, a het isn't going to exactly be on his.
She was banned for a number of reasons, mostly relating to her own well-being.
However: there's nothing wrong with having strong conservative views. There's nothing wrong with espousing those views. There is something unacceptable about racist and homophobic jibes. Personally my patience deserted me when she made a homophobic joke at Shel's expense. I also had enough when I realised that every time she saw a little tension between a couple of dwellars (for example myself and Shawnee), she then jumped in and tried to widen the gap. Posting photos of herself that were borderline acceptable for a child whilst proclaiming her love for an older man was worrying. Desperately trying to get attention, good and bad, showed something amiss.
She was irritating and troublesome, but not because she was right-wing. The first bunch of anti-liberal rhetoric was met with humour and patience. Therefore she escalated it. She continued to escalate to outright racism and homophobia. That's not acceptable from anyone: left or right.
She is clearly a clever kid. Even if she isn't as clever as she thinks she is...which of course is the province of youth. If she was capable of having an actual discussion rather han throwing out whatever outrageous/insulting thing she can think of before moving onto the next I'd love to explore her views further, just as we do with everyone else. That isn't the case.
