WTF got all up in Firefox's ass?

The shit just updated itself and now it takes a million and a half years to load any pages.

Check your add-ons. I've got the latest here and no problems.

Thanks dar..and thanks foot for mentioning it.

My browser has been hanging. I uninstalled the Microsoft add on, which I didn't approve, and it works fine now.

I uninstalled all the add ons and it still stinks. I checked for worms, trojans, vermin, viruses. ed ceddera, nothing.

I plan on speaking very sharply to it tomorrow. Possibly even scold it.

cpu is running at about 2-5% most of the time unless I've got Lightroom, CS3, picasa, teatimer, and AVG performing Handel's Water Music then it hits 100%.

Opera works fast. I'm going to try the guest account and see how FF behaves there.

Oh I forgot too when I googled the problem the other day it was maybe a registry problem. I had downloaded and uninstalled some software just in the last couple weeks so I deleted some invalid file paths but I am afraid of deleting something important.

It could be that too? or I googled again and found this:
http://community.contractwebdevelopment.com/localhost-pages-stall-or-hang-in-firefox-or-ie

I don't really understand it so it might not apply. I just thought I would throw it out there.

that's what got all up in Firefox's ass.

if you don't recognize it, that's probably a good thing.

It's a lava lamp with out a plug right?

Well, it turns out Firefox is fine, it was my douchebag time warner throttling my connection because I suddenly started using it like it owed me money.

How fucking pathetic. I'm almost willing to go back to DSL just to tell them to EAD.
