Everyone buy a Hershey bar this week

The board of Hershey Foods rejected all offers to buy the candy maker. Hershey, PA remains the chocolate capital of the world... and central PA breathes a huge sigh of relief. And breathes in the smell of fresh chocolate.

Whoops.. sorry, I had a Snickers earlier.

Although I've been going through King Size Hershey's with Almonds at work a little faster than I should. :p

I have a work event planned that needs some chocolate support: bags of kisses it is.

Great news for Hershey. I love Hershey. I actually toured the old factory as a kid, back when you could walk into the chocolate mixing room with vats like swimming pools. I remember the smell was mighty powerful. And the ladies with hairnets all pulling out the badly wrapped kisses off the conveyer belt, kinda like Lucy and Ethel.
