Well, at least it's Glatt (very) Kosher. So I know that the 'chicken' is really chicken.

And for $10 a pop, you can enjoy a self-heating meal, that looks a lot like a meal you can get for $2 in the frozen section.

We could send some to Reg Joe and friends if they didn't already look too much like MRE's.

Is that an Israeli Army MRE, perhaps?

Don't blame the manufacturer for that. Someone from Amazon probably typo'd when they copied it to the site.

Update: The wings arrived today. No refrigeration necessary and an expiration date of 12/2011!

This reminds me of the episode "Two" in the Twilight Zone where Charles Bronson eats a chicken drumstick from a can.

I only have 6 boxes, but I'm dying to try one. Even Mrs. Levy is curious.

Just need to register my complete and total disapproval of this product. This thing is a fuck.
Shawnee123 • Nov 5, 2009 10:54 pm
I wouldn't eat that with someone else's mouth!

Well, when the Apocalypse comes, you guys will be chewing on rats and I'll be eating shelf stable chicken wings.:p:yum:
Undertoad • Nov 5, 2009 11:07 pm
Yes if you realize that the definition of "shelf stable" is even the bacteria won't eat it.

If this thing was once chicken, it is no longer. You will beg for something as nutritious as rat.

I personally suspect your "chicken wings" are not so far from rat meat as you would like to believe.

I'd love to try this! Seems interesting, from a scientific AND culinary point of view.

I wonder if they'd survive the trip to England?

Seems, though, that they'd survive a nuclear bomb, so... I'm sure they'd survive a plane ride.

Eaten one, yet, Rich? Do tell... Was it edible? Or, dare I dream... delicious?!
