Pitt Protests

I am all for peaceful assembly but do you have to break peoples stuff and all to get your point across?

Police, in an overwhelming show of force, declared a Thursday afternoon march illegal almost as soon as it began, firing rubber bullets and canisters of pepper spray and smoke after small bands of anarchists responded to calls to disperse by rolling huge metal trash bins, throwing rocks and breaking windows.

Oh, sorry. Did not mean to offend. Accept my appologies if I did so. I will try to refrain. It was in jest to Shaw.

It was a peaceful protest until the undercover CIA provocateurs infiltrated the crowd and started throwing rocks at the cops. Gave the cops an excuse to shut down the peaceful protest.

Don't worry I'd hold off Angelina as long as possible.

That is not peacably assembling to petition redress of grievances, that is rioting.

Silly anarchists.

Well at least they finally got a permit and behaved themselves. Stop giving the cops a reason to bush yer damm noggin....

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A few thousand demonstrators have stopped their march on one of Pittsburgh's bridges and are shouting toward the Group of 20 meeting site from afar.
The protesters have stopped on the Andy Warhol Bridge and turned toward the David L. Convention Center, which is a few hundred yards upriver. They are shouting toward the building and addressing their opposition to what's happening inside.

One woman on a bullhorn is yelling, "Power to the people, not the G-20."

Seven Coast Guard and city police boats are underneath the bridge, keeping an eye on protesters.

The march has a city permit and organizers have pledged to keep it nonviolent.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I wasn't under the impression that the first amendment required permits for the right to peaceably assemble.

I imagine we will soon be required to obtain a permit to exercise free speech.

Aren't the Aleutian islands the only "free speech zone" now available?

Glad I moved out before that happened. Although, I heard most of the city didn't have to go into work because very few bridges were open

You should. She's been around the block a few times by now, lord knows what she's carrying.

I bet her fanny's like a bin bag full of old mussels.
Shawnee123 • Sep 30, 2009 8:43 am
No one can turn a phrase like you, SG. You've been cracking me up all morning.

:)

Actually I thought about this after posting, and decided I had a more pressing reason to warn men off her. You've given me an excuse to revisit it!

It's mostly down to her having sex with Billy Bob Thornton. He just looks dirty. Dirty as in a bit grubby, as well as all the rest. I wouldn't touch someone BBT had slept with, with a stick. Unless it was John Barrowman, and sadly he is strictly a one way street - in the opposite direction.
Shawnee123 • Sep 30, 2009 9:37 am
Yeah, Billy Bob's appearance has an odor.

Protest this! Go ahead, break some windows, destroy some private property, break other peoples shit.... great idea. Pit haters.
