nobbut that's a gud won, thx. "oh hi i fixed ur computer" i think is the caption, with the cat poking it's paw in the tower. A few years ago it was all over the place....
monster • Sep 10, 2009 2:42 pm

monster • Sep 11, 2009 8:49 pm
no, but these are all good, thanks. I think mebbe i dreamed it ...except not because I can find references to the classic "oh hai i fixd ur computer" one.....
Cloud • Sep 11, 2009 9:06 pm
wait . . . there are "classic" lolcats? How long has this thing been around anyway? 3 years?
DanaC • Sep 11, 2009 9:23 pm
Bit longer I think.
Clodfobble • Sep 11, 2009 10:34 pm
Huh. I was gonna say a lot longer too... but icanhascheezburger.com only showed up in January 2007.
monster • Sep 11, 2009 11:11 pm
beest reckons it predates the interwebs
monster • Sep 11, 2009 11:12 pm
but a lot longer than 2007 for sure, wait....
monster • Sep 11, 2009 11:18 pm
Oh FFS I give up. Somewhere Bruce posted a no more lolcats threadbomb. it reckoned 1995.

I have lolcats I made older than 2007 and I'm damn slow to catch on.....
monster • Sep 11, 2009 11:30 pm
btw, the reason I'm looking is I'm edumakating my breast-cancer friend in lolcatism. it's a crash course, so she can enjoy ceiling cat watching her recuperate. and this is one of the first ones I mentioned because it was easy to describe. but now i can't find the fucker.I could always make my own, of course. But it bothers me that it has diappeared off the face of the planet.

and now I've got to the topic, those who have read the thread will know my role in her battle is comic relief. I posted in the "my best friend has breast cancer" thread a bewigged lolcat who fixd her cranial prosthesis (the insurance tern for a wig for chemo patients) ...but I refrained from posting the other chemocat i made for her in case it offended others looking for answers when their friend gets breast cancer. My friend told me I was sick and she loved it. those who have ben following the saga might remember that after she was diagnosed, every medical professional she went near wanted to feel her lump....
Clodfobble • Sep 11, 2009 11:42 pm
Surely it wasn't this one, was it monster?
monster • Sep 11, 2009 11:54 pm
nope. I think I'm officially showing red on the crazy scale, I know there was a fixin ur computer one ....the "no more lolcats, newbz" thing bruce posted mentioned it.
ZenGum • Sep 11, 2009 11:59 pm
No more LOLCats??? WTF?

Can we still has haggiscats?
Undertoad • Sep 12, 2009 12:01 am
I'm seem to remember there was a classic lolcat saying "oh hai! I upgraded your ram" but while there are a few of those in search, the actual classic I remember isn't amongst them.

Breast cancer patients have much better senses of humor than their friends, apparently.

The most popular shirt and bumpersticker at my friend the breast cancer surgeon's office is one that says "Save the Ta-Tas."

Sadly, so true. People seem horrified when she jokes about it. Our friend (who is the president of the board of education) has an 18yo Autistic son and says the same thing about autism jokes -people who haven't been there are horrified when she jokes about it. *sigh*

I have that on the back of my truck. I bought them for all the girls at work in one place I go. My wife and daughter have them on their cars. We got the magnets.

If anyone wants one, or one of their great t-shirts, go here.

I sent the second base image to my friend the breast cancer surgeon. She loved it.
monster • Sep 21, 2009 12:18 pm
Sadly it's too late for my friend's ta-tas -or one of them at least so I think I'll maybe hold off on sharing those. She cried this morning -she's never had surgery before so it's double scary. I bought her a press button receive bacon tote bag to put her stuff in when she goes for surgery. Ooops thread drift, sorry. As you were
richlevy • Sep 26, 2009 6:27 pm
I sooo want that as a T-shirt, Bruce. Personally, I think if they would have called it the "Save the Tits Fund" and put donation jars in strip clubs and bars, they would have collected a few billion dollars by now.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Monster.

I gave my Mum a crash course in LOLcats. She never really got it - I think you need a slow bath rather than a quick dunk.

She'll still try to get me to read "funny" emails she gets from friends.
I still push particularly good LOLcats on her.
Being stubborn is apparently genetic, even if humour isn't always.

I'm thinking of getting Mum a Cage Aux Folles t-shirt for Xmas. I Am What I Am has become her post-cancer theme, I think she's wear it (esp as the writing is in pink glitter). I'd love to get her something more outrageous, along the lines shown here, but she'd laugh and then hide it. I wonder if anyone prints on knickers? Maybe I could get a pair of Fuck Cancer knickers made...?

Keep up the good work Mon.
