Got College?

Do you have kids attending or about to attend college? Are you a struggling student? There is hope.

A friend sent me a link to some off-the-wall scholarship opportunities. I've long known that there are scholarships available for some very specific and sometimes odd interests and experiences. I came upon this link today from my national professional association's daily news:

http://www.abc2news.com/news/local/story/Weird-Scholarships-Nearly-Anyone-Can-Apply-For/Wm_-2cqDZ0KSTDRp6LwFuA.cspx

Check it out. There is funding out there, often it's just knowing how to find it. Links follow article as places to start looking.

Remember, never pay anyone to help you find college funding. Well, you can, but you don't have to. ;)

Interesting. I have two in college, and next year, three. We have the HOPE Scholarship here and 2 of the three will get it, one will get no help.

Also, ask any clubs you have ever been a member of. Our swim club has a scholarship of $500 for alumni.

Pole dancing can be lucrative and usually won't interfere with class schedules.
