"Yes, hello, please leave, now. And take Karzai with you."

Well, here's a nice article that gives a run-down
of the players for the continuing Afghanistan civil war.
So much for turning Kabul into a theme park.

I was watching BBC World News last night, and one of the reporters was there when the attempt on Karzai's life occurred...apparently, one bullet only missed his face by centimeters. That's a shame...the only real problem with Karzai is that he is backed by the US.

I think we need to rename the whole cast over there for clarity. We backed Warren because he was anti-soviet but Chris is more helpful now cause he likes western oil companies.

Um... it's "a shame" that they missed, or that they tried?

A shame that they tried. Karzai seems dedicated to uniting his country and moving forward from years of sheer hell. Maybe if he were "endorsed" by Osama, it would help his case.

Good point, they should have turned the place into fucking glass on the first round, I mean really, why try to wrestle the power from extremists radicals. Just wipe the slate. It would have saved everyone the trouble.

atimes is a mouth piece of the central Chinese government.

it's "a shame" that
Westerners who have never lived, worked in the mid-east have no idea of the the rabbitassed mind set of the outback people there! Have so much to say about their conduct.
Hello! Send a Jew, (Kissinger)sp? to the mid-east to fix things, or better a black woman. Boy someone really understands the way things work????????????? IMHO, but I've not been there for years. (Disclaimer) Rick. I never even heard the word, Jew, till I was in service.

I think it was OXB that sent me a handbook for troops in Iran back in the 40s, which the US has now decided was a good deal. I worked in Iran at the time line when the shaw was taking the ruling role. You best watch you Ps and qs then. Hey I was there to work, not to judge them.

Thats a very interesting point bb. I wonder if our leaders ever considered that from the middle eastern perspective. Nahhhh

Thread drift. After some thought on the assholes of the world I've worked in. Does oil only come in such places? Or is it because the people are so gullible that they take the BS that oil company's give them? Buster"s rule. Damn few people do something for nuttin!
