[Boy, doesn't that sound like a tackily alliterative children's book title?]
This evening, I started reading How I Became a Famous Novelist by Steve Hely. For some reason, I almost immediately though, "Bri would like this." Perhaps it's the narrator's determination to become a college English professor to take advantage of the easy work and the easy female college students. Perhaps it's his complete cynicism about and contempt for the mass-market book industry. Who knows? But, if you have a chance, grab a copy and see how far off base I was.
