What is the procedure for adding an IotD?

I was browsing the Anchorage Alaska newspaper, and they had a slide-show of summer solstice pictures. Might make an interesting IotD. But what's the procedure for getting them in the queue?

(On the other hand, they are likely copyrighted, and if that's a problem for The Cellar, then never mind.)

1) get permisiion from copyright holder
2) be the first person to post for that day.

pretty much everyrhing else will be taken care of -especially recipes and corny puns.


...don't hotlink, though -that's bad.

Follow the format; month - day - year - title.
Pictures that have been in the paper are generally not a problem.
