I think....

monster • Jun 17, 2009 8:31 pm
I think we're posting too much stuff in Nothingland that's actually interesting to many of us (and so not "nothing"), and not enough stuff in here, so some recent, long and stinky threads linger like a fart in a bathroom without ventilation. We need some forum freshener.

What do you think? (Doesn't have to be related to my thinks....)
Shawnee123 • Jun 17, 2009 8:33 pm
I think you're a genius! lol
monster • Jun 17, 2009 8:34 pm
i think so too. Next?
SteveDallas • Jun 17, 2009 9:10 pm
Just put a clothespin on your nose. You'll get used to it eventually.
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 9:17 pm
I think, therefor I am.
lumberjim • Jun 17, 2009 9:24 pm
If 'I think therefore I am' is assumed as valid then are those that think more... more real?

If you're a genius like monster, are you grounded more firmly in reality than a stupid person?

using this logic...there are a few among us that might disappear soon.
classicman • Jun 17, 2009 9:45 pm
where am I???
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 9:48 pm
Did lumberjim just call you stupid classic? ;)
classicman • Jun 17, 2009 9:52 pm
No, I did.
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 9:58 pm
I think that's a bad move when there's plenty out there willing to do it for you (collective you of course)
classicman • Jun 17, 2009 10:16 pm
:'(
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 10:17 pm
you know what I meant.

Never put yourself down. ;)

or does it just mean another check in the obesity column?

There's more than one way of "being".....
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 10:23 pm
no, there's one way, or the fun way!

Take your pick
monster • Jun 17, 2009 10:32 pm
Can I pick my nose?
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 10:33 pm
If you like. Don't miss the soggy bit stuck to the crusty bit though. That's the best bit.

How could I "now" anything?
Aliantha • Jun 17, 2009 11:01 pm
I thought trolls lived under bridges and gobbled up unwary travellers.

Frankie & Annette say:

With all this thinkin' going on
It really seems to me
I've been thinkin' a lot about you
And you've been thinkin' a lot about me
Well
I think, you think: "Why think?"
Let's get together now

and move this thread to Nothingland.

I think, mostly from observation, that the more intelligent (in the IQ sense) that people are, the less likely them being deeply connected to reality.

all I know is that Lisa says that as intelligence goes UP, happiness goes down. At least on her graph it does.

Lisa Simpson has been known to be wrong and a tad inflexible at times...

As I get older, I find more and more that I prefer blissful ignorance to knowledge and thought...:headshake
