Speaking of Marching ... Gen. Patton found a novel way to motivate his troops as they drove through Germany in 1945.

On to Czeckoslovakia! they cried!

Why? Germany was an enemy country, and any fratenization with the civilian population was strictly forbidden. Czeckoslovakia was considered an occupied ally, and so "fraternization" was permitted. :doit:

Sing it with me now...

On, on, on to Czeckoslova-a-kia!
On, on, on to fraterniza-a-tion!

Way to motivate the troops. The French may march on their stomachs (which is the only way to stop them from running away) but the Americans navigate with their dicks.

Why do people always say things like "no offence" and then go right on ahead and do so?

(not that like 95% of the board had no freaking clue without a visit to wikipedia)

I found it funny.
But not worth a whole thread.

Then again, what is worth a whole thread?
Me of course. And my cat.

Maybe you're fit for a thread; maybe you're knot. :D
