When the lightning flashes, this is NOT what you want to see.
THIS IS A PICTURE THAT SOMEONE TOOK WHO WORKS ON AN OIL RIG. HE WAS GOING TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE LIGHTNING AND WAS UNAWARE OF THE TORNADO UNTIL THE LIGHTNING ILLUMINATED IT.
Taken Thursday night, April 2, 2009.

Whatever way it happened, it's a great shot...and I imagine he had to go change his shorts soon after taking it.
Goes to Quality Images just cos it's old. But it's a beaut.
Wow. I like it better without the drilling rig. The poster would be cool.
Nice try, but that was my shot. I'm going to have to invoke my copyright privileges and ask you to take it down.
Are oil rigs often close enough to shore to see trees and radio towers? That looks like terra firma on the right lower side and corner.
Edit: Yeaaaah, never mind. Next time I'll check links before asking...
WAS UNAWARE OF THE TORNADO UNTIL THE LIGHTNING ILLUMINATED IT.
I see this has already been covered, and I have never experienced a Tornado personally, but I am told by those that have that if there is a tornado anywhere in the vicinity you do not need to see it to know it is there.
My sister was killed by lightning AND a tornado on 9/11.

You sure have a lot of sisters.
Actually I don't have any. Just picking up an old Cellar joke...
