It was a challenge that Henry made, and Dana answered, because I asked Henry to ellaborate about something he had posted, about academia and socialism. Please don't disturb that thread. I would like to see how it ends.

i think it's quite a good move, creating two threads. Game threads can so easily get derailed. Granted this is only a two person game, but it won't be worth doing it if it is a free for all in the main thread. Given that we are all likely to comment and get involved in anything that goes on here, anticipating that need and providing a thread for it to maintain the two-person game seems a useful thing to do.

And I have been dying to use the word "grandiose" lately, because I think it's one of those indirectly insulting words. HQ, you sir, are waaaaay too grandiose for my taste. It is possible to be intellegent and express it in complete sentences that don't reek of pompousness and arrogance. It happens in the Cellar every day. That's why I keep coming back.
