A good week at work

Two reasons why this was an especially good week at work:

Our insurance company sent us 4 free tickets to this Sunday's baseball game; Diamondbacks vs. Dodgers. Seats right behind home plate. Guess who won 2 of them in the raffle at the office. :-)

And they let us go 2 hours ealy today. But since I usually work until 4pm and I take my lunch at 1pm, I got to leave at 1pm.

This week was pretty good, at least compared to how my weeks have been for many months now. Next week, however, promises to be a bitch.

Useless piece of information: I've worked with the guy who does (or at least used to do) the Spanish play-by-play commentary for the Diamondbacks. His name was Oscar. If you see him in the booth, make sure and wave at him for me.

If he suddenly gets really pissed off, make sure to tell him that it's not my fault, the company never paid me either.

Not a bad week at work. The last two weeks, I would have been getting ready to go in at this time on Saturday morning. What the hell am I doing up?
