Stupid CEO

xoxoxoBruce • Mar 21, 2009 5:17 am
George David, last year at the age of 66, stepped down as the CEO of United Technologies(Carrier, Hamilton Sundstrand, Otis, Pratt & Whitney,Sikorsky, UTC Fire & Security, UTC Power), where he's still the Chairman of the Board.
Rich & powerful, should have reasonable intelligence, right?

Hah... in 2002 he married Marie Douglas, a 36 year old investment banker and Swedish Countess. Striking, blond, trophy wife, for sure.

By 2004 the marriage was in trouble and after a series of reconciliations, she signed a post-nuptial agreement that gives her $43 million dollars should the marriage end.

Now the marriage has ended and he's offering her the $43 million plus $53,000 a MONTH alimony. But the lady says nay nay, she has no income and couldn't possibly survive on that pittance. She wants, no needs, $100 million plus $130,000 a MONTH alimony.

Now how did a guy that was smart enough to make it to CEO and Chairman of this huge mega-corporation get conned by this gold digger?

Is this a trick question?

I'd like to take a peek at her expenses.

Ask Paul McCartney, I daresay he could cast some light on the subject.

The Swedish countess, previously an investment banker, says she has no income and has listed her weekly expenses in a court document. These include $4,500 for clothes, $1,000 for hair and skin treatments, $1,500 for restaurants and entertainment, $8,000 for travel, $700 for limousine services, $2,209 for an assistant, $1,570 for horse care and $600 for flowers.

Heh...I read the court proceedings on that divorce, thanks to an attorney friend in the commonwealth. How obvious was that scam from day one? :)

I didn't think Heather had a leg to stand on...

:drummer:

She didn't, so she took Pauls middle leg.

Serves him right. Now if I could just get a date with her. :)

Hell it happens to lots of older men. I fell for a girl 26 years younger than me & she took me to the cleaners. You would think I knew better. I have over 25 years in law enforcement, but........

I'd like to take a peek at the poosie that's worth $100,000,000+. It must be made of gold.

I'd like to live for a week on that poor lass's budget. Might be hard to get used to my regular life afterwards, tho.

This (supposedly-) clever CEO bagged himself a trophy wife ... and didn't get a pre-nup? :smack:
xoxoxoBruce • Mar 24, 2009 2:53 am
Do you think a pre-nup would stand up any better than a post-nup?
Sheldonrs • Mar 24, 2009 2:58 pm
And this is why gay is the way.
Decca • Mar 24, 2009 4:44 pm
-occasionally agrees with Sheldonrs- Even though I'm happily straight, I can see why a same-sex partner might be a better idea under certain circumstances!

NOOOOOOOO, they break your heart AND steal your underwear. :haha:
