I wonder, in 1929, what the chances of getting many rides were?
Less traffic but moving slower and friendlier.
No superhighway traffic whizzing by, but people not going as far.

A man from Philadelphia, heading to Califormia, with a poodle? Ghey. ;)

I do like the dog's haircut though.

I wonder if they make better poodle paws now days?

Remember to remove the shoes before barbecue.

He looks right chipper in his boots, as if silenty saying, "Finally! Somebody gets me!"- a proud fellow, set apart from his own species by sheer force of will.

November '29? That was never a pet. It was lunch on the hoof.

I bet his momma wears combat boots.

And his name is Boots, or at least it is now.

What ever will dogs do for boots now? The US has an alarming lack of cobblers!
