Any day now, Barak and Michelle will probably be inviting you to the White House.
They might suggest a little bowling so I thought you might like to know what to expect.

Truman was the first but Nixon was the most avid, and reportedly the best.

So have a good time and tip your Secret Agent. :thumb:

Nice shoes, Dick. And you are over the line too.

Harry is wearing street shoes instead of the proper bowling shoes.
Also notice there's an open ball return in both Dick & Harry's pictures, which was replaced by a closed system.

Nixon is the poster boy for Lebowski Fest

Telephones are provided to allow patrons to contact the General Services Administration (GSA), the United States Secret Service, or White House Management should there be any emergencies or problems involving the facility.

Emergencies? Like a pin jamming? Missed spare? Thumb stuck in the ball?

Or gutterballs. :D

What more proof do we need that Bowling is, indeed, the sport of Kings.

Apparently, the bowling alley has moved around. It started on the first floor of the White House, and then moved next door into the Old Executive Office Building, and is now located in the White House basement underneath the front porch and driveway.

Well it's a good thing, Obama could use the practice.

Is that like bowling for dollars, but on a smaller scale?

I never realized bowling was so technical. No wonder my average was 34.
Shawnee123 • Mar 13, 2009 12:50 pm
I bowled every saturday for 3 years, starting in 7th grade. After 3 years my average was 97. I sucked. My neighbor friend Kelly and I were really only there for the boys. :)
Trilby • Mar 13, 2009 1:00 pm
Ok. You were "there for the boys," AND you "sucked."

:giggles:

I have a dirty, dirty mind.
Gravdigr • Mar 13, 2009 2:27 pm
You do. Don't ever change.

lol...I said 7th grade! Back then 7th graders were typically not worldly, at least not in these parts.

We giggled and and said things like "kelly, dare you to go talk to Jeff...look, look he's going to the bathroom. Go get a drink of water then bump into him."

When the president does it, that means it is not against the rules.
