4/23: Miss Kevlar

Miss Israel will be sporting this lovely number at the Miss Universe pageant on Friday.

It's gotta be a political move. What will she wear for the swimsuit section? Unless she knows in advance that she's not a finalist. And are we speculating that the other side doesn't have marksmen who can manage a head shot?

If there is so much concern for her safety that she can't even walk out on stage somewhere, then don't go. It's a shame that even a stupid beauty pageant becomes bizarre like this due to politics...

I think I read that she is actually an Arab. Does that put a different spin on it? Should it?

If this is part of the new-n-improved Miss Universe paegant, I see it going down in flames. Unless of course shooting at the contestant's vests is also part of the paegent.

BTW, I have seen bulletproof clothing which looks a lot less bulky. It almost looks as if she is wearing a Vietnam-era vest.

I saw anotehr picture somwhere in a much more flatter jacket, she lookslike shes wearing a WWII parachute!
