8/4/2002: Pie faced gent

Slithy suggests this pie-faced gentleman from MSNBC Week in Pics, and sure 'nuff, it's so wacky it can't be passed up. Now what were we saying about "Stand By Me" again?

For a minute I thought we were back at the Redneck Games...

My stomach turned when I saw this. Like you, it took a second before I realized his face wasn't hacked to bits.

Does this say something about our expectations here? Hmm...

Those "pie eating" things always look more like "pie displacing" contests. I wonder what percentage of the pies actually get eaten?

P.S. My friend refers to all-you-can-eat buffets as "all you can waste"
