Hello,
I got bored and decided this looks like a fun forum to join. Please allow myself to introduce myself...

I'm a 26 year old Au Pair (volunteer Nanny) who lives in B.F.E. Indiana. I'm hoping to change my address to Belgium ASAP but have no clue how long ASAP may end up being. I am also a fabric store clerk, seamstress, farmer's market seller, and a sometime model for local artists and photographers.

I'm a geek. I love RPG's and sim games. I have about two dozen web-comics that I read religiously. I've got far too many books and sadly I've read most of them at least twice. I'm a photography nut. I love to write but have never gotten anything published.

I have a stupid dog, an insane cat, an enormous family and a wonderful, gorgeous boyfriend who's got the sexiest accent I've ever heard.

Hello there. welcome. Do you like pink?

depends on the type of pink...the singer? meh, a few songs maybe, hot pink? hell no. Salmonish pink? sure. Pinking Scissors (the ones that cut a zig-zag)? Hell yeah.

All in all though, I much prefer purple.

I love my pinking shears too, but that's about it on the pink spectrum.

Never been a cool kid, never felt the need to be one. I am what I am and if I don't fit in, oh well, the interwebz be big enough, I'm sure there's a bunch of weirdos out there that'll like me.

Precisely. I had a daycare for the past year but the economy killed it. I couldn't afford my house anymore and when one of my daycare families offered me an Au Pair position I couldn't pass it up (their kids were my favorites anyway).

Usually an Au Pair is a university student who gets free room and board with a family in exchange for helping with the housework and kids. I'm not a student but I'm too poor for rent so it works.

They're nude but most often tasteful. There's plenty of samples floating around the interwebs but not often shared too easily. Remember where I said I have a huge family? Yeah, Grandma understands that I do it but I'd hate to cause a heart attack.

I only ever played the single player NWN. But I played a few mmos. Ultima, Star Wars Galaxies, Shadowbane, Anarchy... to name a few.

Aden and Dazza love playing civilization. They have it for PC and Xbox. Both of the kids are mad about Runescape these days. I'm hoping they'll get over it once they get back to school. They seem to have fun with it though.

I didn't play SWG for very long. I didn't get good at it, I just bobbed about doing my usual lone wolf explorer/roleplay storyteller thing for a while. I had friends who played it properly.

As far as I know it's still going and free to play, though I might be wrong. I doubt it has much support now (from the corporation I mean). last i heard they were busy nerfing away what little good there was left in the game, in that charming way games companies do...

Who me? Jaded? Scarred by the horrors of EAGames and Failcom? Shurely shome mishtake...

The thing with Civ on the Amiga was to turn off as many features as possible so you didn't have to keep changing the floppies....

I was addicted to Pirates! for the C64. I even tricked my brother by putting the Microprose label on a blank disk so he would think the game didn't work anymore and would stop fighting me to play it.

I liked SWG so much because I liked the crafting structure...my char was a bioengineer/tailor. But she also had a lot of fighting skills too for those times when we had to go out as a group and hunt kraits or something.

I have not done so yet. My days of D&D and Warhammer died when I left my ex-husband (who kept all my monster manuals, damn him). I would LOVE to get back into RPG's again but sadly the geeks in this area tend to be geeks of a different kind than myself (furries and Larpers.)

Now I am not into the RPG's or sim games... actually can't stand them with a passion for some reason, but I am into the photography, have 2 each insane dogs and cats, and two partners which keep me on my toes, Elspode being one of them.

What kind of accent does your boyfriend have, I love accents! ;)

What type of photography is your forte? I do mostly nature photography and animal portraiture.

I tried the two partners thing once before, it's so difficult to get the balance right. I'm always impressed by those lucky few who can make it work.

My sweety has got a French accent. I've always had a thing for accents. In High School I was the girl who fell in lust with every single foreign exchange student to enter our school. In that regard (and many others) I hit the jackpot when I fell for my boyfriend. He's from the French speaking part of Belgium but is also fluent in English and Dutch and can speak pretty good Spanish as well. Before I met him, I used to think the Irish accent was my favorite. Now, luckily, I know better. :)

A few years ago they completely redid SWG. The combat is now mindless. Everything else was dumbed down to pointlessness too. They called it the NGE (don't ask me what that means).
