tight-rolled jeans

gotta tighten them up before the bell rings

That is totally tubular, dude.

Is that a new style? Are we talking peg leg jeans like I wore in HS, or bells wadded up at the bottom?

Jr. High for me, too. Fold em over, roll em up...fall out and I don't notice...so EMBARRASSING!
Shawnee123 • Dec 31, 2008 2:04 pm
Couldn't we just stuff 'em into leg warmers?

Yes, but you have to roll them first...they stay in there better that way.
Shawnee123 • Dec 31, 2008 2:11 pm
I've been rolling the wrong thing...all these years! :)

Better than smoking the wrong thing. ;)

Nobody this side of the pond knows what you're talking about.
Shawnee123 • Dec 31, 2008 4:11 pm
I'm not sure either, SG. In HS everyone wore peglegs...I didn't roll and tuck to make non peg look peggy.

I asked if now kids are taking bell type legs and rolling and making some kind of Slot A and Tab B thing, but (shrugs) I dunno.

Don't worry, it was just a bad fad from the late 80's early 90's...
Shawnee123 • Dec 31, 2008 4:12 pm
Ahem...again...you couldn't BUY jeans with much width at the bottom of the leg. What am I missing?

Then again, where I went to HS wasn't exactly Milan.
