7/28/2002: Activist paints Israeli vehicle

This peace activist has just thrown red paint on an Israeli armored vehicle and is darting away. 14 peace activists threw red paint and wrote graffiti ("Murder") on the armored vehicles in Ramallah on the West Bank.

Here's guessing by her bare arms, lack of head scarf, the English words used and the non-violent style of protest that these are not locals.

That, or she's a native Israeli protestor. Don't Israelis have access to all areas in Israel and the occupied territories?

That, or maybe she just has a good old-fashioned death wish.

Whew. Good thing she wasn't carrying a fire extinguisher. Those fellas wearing the helmets might have shot her in the head!

I wonder what would happen if a "peace protestor" tried the same sort of thing on a Hamas or Palestinian-authority controlled vehicle or building?

I thought they'd all been bombed.
