Having once dipped into a Teach Yourself: Welsh book, I tend to say "pooned." In Welsh, W is a vowel.

Is this like Poontang?

The proper pronunciation of "pwned" is rhyming with "owned" since it is a derivation of "owned". If you say "pooned" you have, in fact, pwned yourself.

Well, Toad, I'd say that depends on what languages you know -- or have a nodding acquaintance with. Yes, it is "a derivation of 'owned'" -- but I'm tellin' ya, nothing mutates as fast as a vowel. Except flu viruses.

Merc: PWNTANG.
