When Warfare Goes Wrong

Horribly, horribly wrong...

Nice.

Does warfare ever go right?
lookout123 • Dec 3, 2008 4:53 pm
Dresden seemed to go according to plan.

I'm sorry...when does warfare go *right*?
Aliantha • Dec 3, 2008 5:09 pm
I already asked that Els.

I apologize for being a lazy reader. In fact, I apologize for being a generally lazy person overall.

Someone post this to all the threads that I'm likely to participate in?
Aliantha • Dec 3, 2008 5:17 pm
Sorry...I can't be arsed. Maybe someone else?...

I think you might have some unresolved anger issues, Merc.
classicman • Dec 4, 2008 1:43 pm
Nothing that a few of those planes couldn't eliminate

Actually you would be reading that wrong. I am retired military and it was just the first thing that came to mind as an obvious response to a question.

But seriously folks -- it'd look a lot like a day at the shooting range. Loud, but not very violent.

Mk 82 low-drag bombs -- almost the ultimate in ordinary experience of "fall down, go boom."

Mk 84 LDGP bomb -- closer to the ultimate in that there.

MOAB's and Daisycutters make bigger booms yet, but are not so common as to be "ordinary experience."
