Trilby • Dec 1, 2008 2:57 pm
Is he batshit insane?
Flint • Dec 1, 2008 3:00 pm
I was. But I'm feeling much better now.
Shawnee123 • Dec 1, 2008 3:01 pm

Why? I'd have to say it's about par for the course.

I thought it was pretty good.

He must have been your secret santa?

After 2.5 years I'm still not sure about Flint.
He's abrasive, has very different ideals to me, is not gracious in defeat, is belligerent and not afraid to engage people in arguments, and gets quite personal when he does.

Perhaps most of the above is simply because I don't get his humour.
Many Dwellars I admire "get" him, so I accept there is more to him than I see.

(he does occasionally make me laugh)

I vote Flint for "3rd-funniest Cellarite."
lumberjim • Dec 7, 2008 9:08 pm
which begs the question:

who's 4th?!

You're taking him way too seriously. He is in "real life" very down to earth and PC... almost to a fault, quiet and easy to get along with. Of course... that is with most common acquaintances and co-workers... if he acts the way you describe him above ... it means he likes and respects you. It’s sorta like being back in kindergarten, but with headier subject mater... well... sometimes...

Flint is really a very cool, very funny and very sweet guy... trust me...

That probably deserves a poll.

Flint is one of my favourite posters on this site.
Shawnee123 • Dec 8, 2008 4:43 pm
Me too. He's freaking hilarious! I imagine you and he laugh a lot, Pooka.

There are a lot of funny people here; Flint is among the quirkiest.
lumberjim • Dec 8, 2008 5:10 pm
you need people like that to balance the unimaginative turds that take them selves so seriously all the time.
Aliantha • Dec 8, 2008 5:11 pm
Yeah, and the wankers that don't send out their christmas presents.
Trilby • Dec 8, 2008 5:14 pm
Isn't this funny?

Wow. That is so totally not what I get from Flint. Sure he's a complete asshole with no redeeming values, but other than that he seems ok. His humor is off the wall but often quite clever. He isn't gracious in defeat but that may be because I've never known him to feel defeated. I like that he argues for what he thinks even if I disagree and I don't really think he get that personal really. Anyway, just thought I'd defend the evil nasty prick so he doesn't pick on me and steal my lunch money for the next few days.

Here's what you have to do to understand Flint. No matter what he posts, imagine every single sentence as if he is raising one eyebrow and sticking his tongue out. It makes everything crystal clear.

Flint killed my therapist on 9/11. and he's bonking Cic (sorry, Pooka)
dar512 • Dec 9, 2008 10:31 am
A more appropriate question might be "Where is Flint?" He hasn't posted since the 4th.
Pie • Dec 9, 2008 10:36 am
Flint sucked (and not well) when he first showed up from AG; since then he's matured nicely.
Flint • Dec 9, 2008 10:42 am
I've been busy. I do read this thread.

Yes we do... like a couple of 13 year olds with a joint and pan of rice crispy treats...
Urbane Guerrilla • Dec 10, 2008 6:17 pm
....

I've never noticed anything particularly odd about Flint.
