WTF Does Your Cat Look Like RFN?
To be fair, pupilary dilation is more readily attributed to the flash than to any real sense of surprise.
Still...TF's cat *was* kinda like, WTF?!
My beautiful babba. Who I am afraid is very ill. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow to be on the safe side. I hope it's just a cold, but he has a very weepy eye, so I'm scared it's cat flu.
Sorry for boobage in a pet thread, I took it by tilting my laptop down - I didn't want to disturb him too much.

Miss Mitzvah, drooling.
cool cat!
sundae, did you just apologize for boobage?!
rename this thread.
what do your 'tits and pussy' look like rfn!

Mr. Mazel
My beautiful babba....
Sorry to hear that your babba is ill. But what's the cat's name?
Sorry Impress, I write so much about him I assume everyone knows.
My babba is Diz. I get round the whole "cats as children" jibe by never calling him my baby. Although of course he is, in a furry way.
And your cats are so beautiful! As is TF's.
LJ - of course I apologise for boobs in a pet thread! I have my priorities right. Like the tits & pussy idea though. And on reflection it does show how H-U-G-E my nipples are.
Sorry about your kitty being unwell.
I'm not sorry about yer boob.
Banzai rfn.

And your cats are so beautiful! As is TF's.
Thanks, I do love my kitties... that was Ezmeralda in the picture. I got her after searching for a gray and white kitty. I had been seeing them everywhere after my Merlin Kitten died. No one else ever saw them though... got to be quite the running joke. I actually dreamed of her name. Elspode is going to post a pic of my Siamese Ragdoll mix Kali. She was the only siamese in a mixed litter of kittens.:D
The cats are all so beautiful! [your boobies too SG] My cat died last year I have not had the heart to get another. She was 13. I love kitties.
sunny window and mutual grooming time -- or warmup to WWC cage match...
Getting ready for flour and a hot pan...yumm!
PS. If I have offended anyone, it's only because you have no idea how tasty this is!!!
TF's mostly Siamese RF last night.
This looks like mid-role, but that is how she was sleeping.
Beautiful kitties! I love cats.
This is my cat Rascal. He passed away several months ago.
This is my cat Shakti.
And this is Rufus,
This is Ralph (cat) and Lester (dog) on the cat tree my SO built.

Okay - I actually went and took pictures of all my kitties just for your enjoyment. :D

C.C. (short for "candy corn," our newest resident)

Daisy, the princess

Sterling, the dignified fellow

Stink (her real name is "Angelica," but Stink fits better)

Tabby, the ancient (my mom's cat we inherited - she's 17)

Buddy, my daughter's cuddle-bug

Beautiful kitties! I love cats.
This is my cat Rascal. He passed away several months ago.
Sorry to hear about Rascal. Beautiful cat. Looks like one we had named Skeeter. Can't seem to find a pic of him.
Not RFN, but recently. This is Turbo.
Sorry to hear about Rascal. Beautiful cat. Looks like one we had named Skeeter. Can't seem to find a pic of him.
I rescued him. Found him living under a shed next to a convenience store. He was soooo tiny. I started feeding him every day. He was very friendly right from the beginning. There was another one I was going to rescue as well, but she wouldn't come close enough for me to pick up so I was waiting on a cat trap so I could trap them. Then she disappeared, so I just grabbed Rascal and took him home with me. He was a real sweetheart. and he was soooo cute. He loved chasing moths, even though he never caught them. (he was kinda clutzy. Rufus is the hunter. He even brought a live snake into the house once, three times his size.) Rascal was only 3. I think he was hit by a car. I still get very sad sometimes when I think about him. I'll put some more pictures up of him later. I wish I could find another one with a similar personality. He kept me in stitches, he was so funny.

Our Skeeter did the same thing. We rescued him from a mom who had one eye and had a habit of eating her young because she couldn't provide. We saved two, Skeeter, and Smokey. Wonderful kittens and cats. We have fond memories of them. Nice you were able to enjoy Rascal.
This is Ralph (cat) and Lester (dog) on the cat tree my SO built.

I'm in love with Lester. I lost my border collie, Cindy Lou, in the divorce. For months and months, I prayed that she'd be one of those miraculous stories and that she'd break free and find her way home to me. The ex bastard didn't take good care of her and she died much too young. Broke my heart. Border collies are so freaking intelligent, and you can clearly see that on Lester's expression. Enjoy him. He's beautiful.
Juniper, your cats are stunning. Their markings are so attractive.
Lester is a beautiful specimen of a border collie, and he is quite large. and yes, he is wicked smart, as is his "dad." He is actually my SO's dog. (although, we aren't really together anymore, but we still see each other. I'm not sure what we are. He got Ralph and Lester, I got Shakti and Rufus.) There are several feral cats where he is moving now, and they are very friendly, so I'm thinking I might pick up one or two of them as well. I can already see he is going to have more cats. :D
(although, we aren't really together anymore, but we still see each other. I'm not sure what we are.
I believe the official Tagged.com designation is "Its Complicated". :D
Mango needs to get her own account...
My two cats, Luna and Malina.
Luna is the involtino; Mala is the one lacking in dignity of any sort.
(Sorry for the lousy cameraphone pics)
Demeter and Atomic (littermates)
Our orphan cat Patches. Lives in the basement and "helps" me study

Here is Jake The Cat whom I lost recently. I miss him a LOT. Below that one is Duchess Roadkill and Saknussem playing Spidercat.
spider cat or...
Ceiling cat?!
Duchess Roadkill?!
Some mighty implements of destruction on yer wall there, Sak.
*waves at all the kittehs
LOL
Duchess is a funky critter. Okay, we found her on the back passenger tire of our van, inside the wheelwell, out of sight. If our younger son had not said, "HEY! There's a TAIL on the tire!" She would have been a flat cat. Instead, she has the manners of a duchess and was almost roadkill.
As for the implements of destruction, sort of, yeah. Started off with the wife getting me Sting one year. Then I got a couple of war hammers from a friend cause I always play Dwarves in our D&D/EQ2 games. Then the rapier sort of appeared on day..../whistles innocently....then, look, I have NO idea where the broadsword came from.I am CONVINCED the wife got it one day when she went to the local witch shop and liked it cause it is shiny...As for the daggers, well, they came with the apartment..yeah, that's it, they came with the apartment.
And she is SPIDERCAT! SPIDERCAT! NO CEILING CAT! I am not holding her up there! I am trying to pull her off the ceiling...yeah.
Nerd. There is so much nerd coming off that post I can barely read it. Geek aura. ;)
Take a bid whiff. :)
No rlly, nice to meet you saknuss. I haven't seen you around much.
nerd? yes.
geek? no. I don't bite the heads off small animals in carnivals. I do something similar: I teach elementary school in California.
Ok point two: you know the real definition of geek. Case closed. ;)
lol!!
Poor thing teaches elementary...Kudos to you sir! And in California! lol!!
omg...I can imagine the parent teacher conferences about the kid having bad energy, right now....:)
lol nah, the CA types you're speaking of are further south than where we are. nice solid farming community here. And why shouldn't I know the definition? I did my graduate school in English AND I am a HUGE Black Sabbath fan...
Master Jinx...or one eyed jack - thats his nickname.
He's 5 and legendary for killing things that are supposedly beyond him. Possum, Wood duck, Hawk...etc
And Ebbonina...
She just turned up at work as a little kitten 6 yrs ago and I took her home. She's elusive and only likes me :)
Grimbley - the wonder Bengal
Our latest addition, just arrived in our yard and no one knows where she belongs, sadly named "Bruce" (by Waddler#2) come hell or high water....a spirited Siamese ?? cross little girl...
Wow - how could anyone let her go?
She's lovely.
And I see you are able to take in new cats with no bother... unlike me. We still have Mia and Diz on separate shifts in this house, because of the spitting and yowling. In the New Year we're putting them in the same room while one is in the cat carrier to try and progress things.
Still, they both seem happy in their separate but equal world.
I was very sorry to see the state of my sister's cat on Boxing Day. Very sorry - if I had any kind of relationship with her at all I would have spoken up. He is painfully thin. When you stroke him you feel every single bone in his back, his hips, even his face. He can no longer groom himself, they have to do it for him. He walks like he's walking on knives. Last month he spent as much time at the vet as he did at home.
I hate to see cats kept alive only for the sake of the family. He's 18 years old, he deserves to die peacefully. Sigh.
At least he presumably had a loving and stable family for a long time. There is a lot to be said for that.
True - they have always cared very well for him.
This is sorta OT, but kinda goes along with what SG is talkin about:
My aunt rescued a little dog recently. Ridiculously old creature, but she saved it, took it to the vet and got it the necessary surgery. Now we all know that those vet bills can be quite hefty.
My 2nd cousin, her grandson, who lives with her, was sick for days before they took him into the hospital. Why did they wait so long? Because they didn't have the money for a doctor. He is seriously ill with fluid on his lungs and they think he has pneumonia.
So her 7yr old grandchild had to wait to get medical care until he was in critical condition because they didn't have the money for a doctor. Yet, she rescued an old ass dog and spent atleast a thousand on surgery for it. Albeit she rescued the dog a week before her granchild got sick, but when the kid got sick she didn't have the money for him because she'd spent it all on a dog.
Where is the child's parents - not that it really matters.
Awwww, he's awesome! He looks like he has so much personality. I love kittehs!
haha! that is so funny. He's posing, 'cause he knows how beeyootiful he is!
He's a gorgeous cat.
I'll have to round up my little stinker for another shot.
Half the size and nowhere near as aristocratic - but just as loved I'll warrant.
Oh, that's funny... he's only about 3/4 the size of Banzai, I think of him as little. Which is good, because he loves to be held.
He is stunning. What a regal looking cat. You could believe him as the embodiment of an Egyptian God.
I wuv him noes, and want to kiss him on him noes!
Actually, looking at it again, Jinx, you look like a midwife with a tough 'splainin job to do.
The name is little bit, and he runs this place.
...and this is Omar the old man of the house.
This is Gizmo relaxing

He is stunning. What a regal looking cat. You could believe him as the embodiment of an Egyptian God.
And yet he knocked the statue of Bastet I bought at the King Tut exhibit off the table and chipped the ear. Pissed me right off...
He is very sweet though - thanks guys.
I love the relaxing cats vibe we have going!
Joe & Ali - you have lovely cats.
I'll try to get Mum to take a pic of Diz in his relaxed baby pose in my arms, but to be honest, he is such an attention whore that he won't chill out when there is movement around him.
What I need is a motion sensitive, night vision camera. Oh and make it semi-X-ray as well (I'm making it up, I can have what I want!)
Because he is at his cutest in the early mornings. This morning I woke up to find one paw on my cheek. He was lying as if he had his arms around me, but being a small cat and me having a big fat face he only got one paw up. His back legs were against my upper chest and his head was on the pillow.
This is mostly because I lost the lead to the heated pad he used to have in his cat bed :( In truth he could snuggle down in the airing cupboard or on the storage heater - but Singas are people cats, so he settles down with me.
Because I was up early - for me (signing on day) - I left him asleep while I ate and showered. When I came back into the bedroom he was in the same position - covered up with the duvet, head in the pillow - so cute I was tempted to get back into bed. I didn't of course.
Anyway, back to pictures - I will supply one sometime soon.
you know how you take your kid to get photographed, and they arrange the hands on a drape? Ivan always does funny positions with his paws, and I caught this one on my new iphone:
Cloud, Ivan has trained you well!
He assumes the pose, you get the camera ;)
Here is Diz last night. Not a bad attempt - at least he is still more or less in the same position he was before I drew the duvet back. This is the few seconds in between dead to the world with a smile on his face, and wide awake wanting to be entertained.
The odd lighting effect is the bedside lamp - if I'd crossed the room to put the main light on I wouldn't have got the photo.
Awww. He looks very comfy. I love the delicately curled paw lol. Very lionesque.
Again, not RFN. Sunday.
But this thread is as good a place as any I reckon.
What I say in the clip is true. This is Diz mewing, in a pathetic big-eyed way.
Usuaully if he feels he is being denied something he will SHOUT!
All attempts to capture this have been unsuccessful, so this is all you get.

Just hope PETA don't see it...
Usuaully if he feels he is being denied something he will SHOUT!
I can attest to this.
I think part of the problem was that it was me filming.
Most of his attention is therefore on me.
If my parents are in the kitchen, ALL of his attention is on the prize (in this case a turkey, sometimes just the door to the garden, or even the cup of tea they have just made, until he gets shown it with the classic family line, "Cats don't like..."). That is when he starts to yowl - as Dana is witness.
When I am there he tries the charm offensive.
I live with the Charles Manson of the cat world.
But I love him.
Mango needs to get her own account...
I just saw this one, it is great!! Ezmeralda is so bug eyed in that picture.
Diz haz great big eyez! What a cutie!
To even this up with the dog thread. Diz, before lunch today.
I want Diz! What a cutie. SG, you've gotten me seriously interested in his breed. I would love to have a cat as personable and snuggly as him.
Jinx and Ducks might disagree, but I say if you have time enough and love for a pedigree, buy a Singapura. They are distilled essence of cat - all the things cat-lovers love, but in a tiny, springy, muscular package.
If my ship ever comes in I will get another (though I'd have to drug Diz for a few days until he got used to a newcomer). In the mean time I'm just grateful that I still have my boy with me. Even my Mum now understands why I stayed so long in Leicester when things went wrong, just because I was terrified of having to give them up.
Pewter, one of the katkeeper kats.
Tajjy sleeping in my computer chair.
Gaines showing off his long arms. He loves his arms.
This is from my cats:
Meow, rohr rohr mau mau mreow mowmoh rwahr.
Hey, dont' kill the messenger, they said it.
My cats plummeted to earth about five years ago and I rarely take pictures of them any more. Before that, I'd shot thousands.
Strange how that works.
Why would anyone shoot thousands of cats? You musta been a farm guy.
Lady Cleopatra is beautiful and well-named!
Playin with the boy - not quite RFN (had a lot of images to download) but I promise you he looks no different in the interim.
My boycat Slick & Rocky the Thieving Squirrel. (RF 5 yrs ago, but the back of his head still looks the same)
Look at the fucking size of that squirrel!
Wouldn't like to try getting one o'them into a catapult...
Katkeeper's Corvina on the new doormat.
Hi kitty!
Looks like a sweetie.
That Kitty looks like it leads a rough life. :lol2:
I had put the mat down to show to a friend, and Corvina decided to take it over, making for a good photo op. It is especially appropriate because she has done more than the usual damage to the furniture! Fortunately I decided long ago that cats were more important than sofas and chairs.

I want one of those mats!
and I agree--I value my pets much more than my furnishings.
I got the mat at a store called "Tuesday Morning". They sell odd lots of leftover merchandise. They have a "Beware of Dog" mat that has chunks bitten out of the edges of it, which is also very funny.
I long ago gave up on keeping any decent carpets because of my dog...I don't care:) I love my dog....carpets? meh.
A friend of a friend recently had to give her two dogs up. Work commitments were getting to the point she never saw them and was spending half her wage on dog sitters/walkers. I felt so sorry for her. But at the same time, I also knew, I'd never find myself in that position, because I'd give the job up first lol.
Here is Kung Pao Kitty.
No,
here is Kung Pao Kitty. ;)
Kung Pao kitty is so cute.
Ugh, I'm seriously thinking of getting a kitt-un. Must Not Give In. Sure would be nice to have a snuggly little baby kitteh right about now, though. ;)
She may be cute, but she is a 4:30AM alarm clock with claws.
Ahhhh, yes. Thanks. Tell me more, I do NOT need a kitten right now. lol
She is also a walking poop dispenser.
OK...waking moments. Poop.
One more and I'll discard the idea of a kitten I don't really need right now. ;)
A cat would interupt when we're doing the beast with two backs.
How's that? :lol2:
HUH? Pass some of that over here, so I can understand your post.
Hey, bad smilie...bad bad smilie. ;)
Well, you wanted one more reason. :D
This is Gizmo sitting on Max (baby in my belly). She does this most days around this time.

Ali that is super-cute, I love it.
Does she ever get booted in the head?
Oh yes, she gets bumped about a bit. Sometimes she sits her whole body on my belly and rests her head between my boobs. That way she cops a body blow instead of a head shot.
I actually think she likes the vibrations or something. As I said, she seems to want to sit on my belly quite a lot now.
Haven't you heard of in-womb learning? Max's first word is going to be "meow"!
Seriously, does gizmo purr in that position? The vibrations will reach Max for sure, I wonder what he'd make of them.
awwww! a protector!
and, oh, I'm getting excited for you!

Yeah...she purs and then after a while starts dribbling she gets so comfy. She's not an old cat either. Only a bit over 1. I don't know what Max thinks about it, but he seems to like it. He kicks a bit at first but then seems to go to sleep.
awwww! a protector!
and, oh, I'm getting excited for you!
Thanks Cloud. We're all pretty excited ourselves. :) Just can't wait now.
Look at the fucking size of that squirrel!
Wouldn't like to try getting one o'them into a catapult...
Some of the squirrels around here keep New York City sewer rats for bitches, I even saw one punk a raccoon once.
BTW, where would I get a squirrel catapult? (Heavy duty/extra large o'course!!)

Acme.
Omar J. Poptart gets jealous of the puter while I'm hanging out in the Cellar.
Not RFN, but sometime last winter. Turbo sleeping in my arms. Caught one morning by my husband with his cell phone.
Omar J. Poptart gets jealous of the puter while I'm hanging out in the Cellar.
WFT type of cat is that? A bloomin' leopard?
wow.
cute pic, Pico
Pico, that's cute.
Monster, Omar is indeed a big kitty. He's a big lover though, and jealous of anything that gets between him and Dad.
Omar and Turbo are just love, love, lovely!
Diz is way smaller, but adopts the same positions for the same reason.
He especially likes to come back to bed at about 06.00 and snuggle. Then about 07.30 (when my parents get up and shut my door) he shifts. I get cat paws pushing against me. Why? Warmth hugging cat finally realises he is too hot.
But he loves to lie a cheek against me (as Pico). Between my boobies, or cheek to arm, cheek to shoulder, even cheek to cheek.
RF this morning ... (actually I think they're still there and it's 2.20pm now!)

Not for sale, Not for sale.....
Sooooooo tired....

BASEMENT CAT ..... IS PRETENDING HE CAN'T ESCAPE.
How is this even comfortable?
Oh My Word!
Cute cat overload since I was last here!
Limey - come the summer, come the visitor. You can't keep me away now - a mackerel tabby AND a ginger! Glorious. I adore thus.
Ah Jinx. Your photography and your Dennis. How could it not be a match? PLEASE come here. And stretch out on my Mum's immaculate floor and take pictures of Diz. I'd save for weeks & weeks & weeks & weeks so that I could treat you to meals out in country pubs. Just to have you photo my boy. Oh and 'cos I'd die to meet you (and the fambly of course!) And I wouldn't even try to shag LJ.
Because the 'rents would be involved in driving y'all round... and would object. Oh and of course I have more respect for you than that. And he'd say no and break my heart.
Jester & Pie - how cute? So curly and so long!?
Kisses needed.
Oh, this is the Diz cat, all surprised because I yanked off the duvet.
RF March 1: Slick and a decidedly bold interloper.
Oh My Word!
Ah Jinx. Your photography and your Dennis. How could it not be a match? PLEASE come here. And stretch out on my Mum's immaculate floor and take pictures of Diz.
I would so freaking love to, you have no idea... and not just because Diz is so fantastic looking and would make for some cool pics....
Thanks!
Wife (NOT Tippi Hedren if you've seen my other posts) decided to taunt Duchess by scratching the sheets under the blanket. Duchess responded by calling in an air strike. Captured on disc. NOT RF now, but worth the bandwidth, I think.

The first one is my little Boo Boo (Kitty Fuck) that got a box stuck on her head. I was sitting at the computer and heard this "mrwao, Mrwao" sound and I look over and she's shaking her head trying to get the box off.
The next one is Peach (or Peach Pie) looking up at me while I'm on the computer.
My boy Slick, rf2weeksago. I was hiding behind the boat, he didn't know I was even on the planet...
I wish I knew. I wish I were home so I could see for myself.
Not my cat, not RFN. Best friend's neighbor's kitteh, RF2weeksago.
Filmed about 10 minutes ago:

Awwww. Hi Kitteh! Before I saw your vid title, I was going to ask if (s)he had his or her eyes on a bird!
That's one intense cat! Love the 'cheep cheep' noises...
Filmed about 10 minutes ago:

Oh. My. God.
My boy Slick (a 20 lb black Bombay) does the
exact same thing as Simcha when watching the birds from the window sill!! Slick gets just a little more meow out, so it really comes out like a little bark. Slick and Simcha's behavior is almost
identical, it's like they coordinated there actions or something.
The entire 'digr household is awed by your video. Awesome.:thumb:
Was looking at a pic of Slick...He doesn't look 20 lbs., but then again, black *is* a slimming color.
My vet doesn't think Simcha's a Bombay, because she says Bombays have more smushed faces. Slick doesn't seem to have a smushed face, but I think he and Simcha are *definitely* Bombays. Black coats, yellow/copper eyes, talkative, etc.
Never heard that 'smushed face' bit about Bombays.
Ol' Slick's not quite the cat he was a few years ago. He's a little less than 20, prolly around sixteen-seventeen now. He's about 13 yo now, and missing one upper fang. Approaching 'Old Man Kitty' territory pretty quick now. Sometimes, when I pick him up for a cuddle session, I sing the title line from "Old Man River" replacing 'river' with 'kitty'. I make me laugh.
Bombays: The patent leather kid with the copper penny eyes.
He's a little less than 20, prolly around sixteen-seventeen now. He's about 13 yo now,
So he's what, about 10 years old?
I have a Bombay mix too. She looks like both of yours.
There are two different Bombay's. They are the British and the American. The British has a more Burmese shaped head or that's what the cat fancier associations says.
So he's what, about 10 years old?
I was confused. Is the kitteh twenty, 16-17, or 13?
I have a 17 yo kitteh. Poor old girl...always was tiny and now is really skinny, but still healthy. And she still has the sweetest face I ever saw, even if it is more gaunt. :)
I'm guessing the "less than 20, prolly around sixteen-seventeen now" was kitteh's weight... 13 years is his age...
My
last cat made it to 19.5 years... she weighted 4.5 lbs when she died. She was tiny; never heavier that 6.5 during her entire life.
D'oh.
Thanks Pie. :)
God damn. Line up to call me out why doncha?
Well I wondered before but I figured I was missing something simple, then when clod sorta mentioned it I thought I'd ask. Turns out I was missing something simple...hence the blushing. Sorry.
@ Pie: Taj has always been tiny too, but she's a bit bony now. She eats. I feed them both canned and dry food, but the dry food is a bit difficult for her. My Toonces was only 12 when he died; I'm happy to have had this one for 16 and a half years! I hope she stays healthy for a long time.
The vid of Simcha chittering to the birds is fantastic. I was trying to describe this to my friend the other day (with little success), and I was able to show her this video. Very cool!
Jinx, your cats are the mostest! I want me somes for my next round.
They know how to nap that's for sure, and once they get you down you're pinned.
I love how they fit together so well, like tessellations.
I have 22 copies of this pic (no shit), after to trying to get it under the 175kb limit.
I finally made it b&w to get down to 167kb.:comp1:
RFyesterday afternoon.
Handsome. But Digr, is that still an xmas lawn ornament in April???
I love how they fit together so well, like tessellations.
:D
Itookthisonmyphone, so it sucks, but look anyway because the boys are so cute.
cat videoSigh. Makes me miss Dylan.
I can't access the video without logging in though :(
Here is the Diz cat being all spooked by my attempts to catch a "natural" shot. It's just not possible, the boy is too nosey.
Dontcha just want to snuggle up to your kittys when they sleeping...they just look sooooo cozy!
I accidently woke Turbo up when I tried to take his picture napping on my still unmade bed.
lol at Diz. His eyes are so big in that shot. He looks like Nermal (The World's Cutest Kitten).
@ Pico: that's not an unmade bed. It's perfectly made for a cat:P
LOL...they do like it better that way dont they!
Pico, I can never get a shot of Diz unaware.
Except when he is completely sparko - and then I never have my camera with me! I'll have to start keeping it by my bed and hope I luck out with the first shot.
Yes, the kittehs always used to try to tempt me back to bed when I was working. Now Diz knows I get up and stay up; I'm like his Bagpuss (when Bagpuss wakes up, all the other creatures wake up with him) and he just tries to trip me up on my way to breakfast.
Now Diz ... just tries to trip me up on my way to breakfast.
Hey. A cat's gotta have goals, right?
Diz has goals.
The other night he had a Who Can Do the Stinkiest Poo competition.
With himself.
He won.
I thought I was going to have to sleep in the spare room.
Sensible part of post - I keep my cat's litter tray very clean, but living with my parents I cannot get up at gone 02.00 to remove a stinky poo. Especially when I know by experience the really smelly ones are the runny ones.

Ok, second attempt, please try again.Gorgeous.
I shouldn't have watched it tho - and I knew I shouldn't.
More Dylan mourning.
So pleased for you that your boys get on so well.
I am constantly covered in minor cuts from trying to replace a furry pal in playfights.
This:
is what our cat looks like RFN :(
Ok, second attempt, please try again.
Longest tails I've ever seen on a kitteh!
I'm sure you're freaking out mon... I'd be freaking out.
We are, somewhat. We think/hope maybe he got freaked by the thunder, belted into some open garage and got shut in by someone who hasn't come home yet....
Vid 2
Awesome wrestling moves.
Atomic is back :D as of like 6.3 seconds ago. you were the first to hear....
yay. now beat him unmerciful for scaring you
Oh thank FSM for that. Horrible when a pet is missing.
Poor lamb, has he been in a fight, or clipped by a car or something?
Mon, having gone through the trauma (word used lightly, but it bloody hurt) of a missing cat who never returned, you have my heartfelt congratulations. Very pleased he's back.
Thanks guys. He really wasn't gone for very long -24 hours, but it was still unusual. And we were obviously right to be worried as he is hurt, but full damage/need for vet trip not yet assessed. He wasn't too keen on being inspected last night, but could walk ok and wasn't all pissy when we tried to look at his foot, just very very wriggly and very very hungry and pretty filthy, so we thought we'd let him clean it off and check this morning. He has yet to surface from the pit where he likes to sleep AKA Hector's bed.....
Here's Ivan this morning. You can see his eye problem, which a vet told me was allergies. Makes sense, since a lot of people suffer, especially this time of year (wind blows a LOT here). Vet told me to change his food to some special kind of food (which she then offered to sell me). But he doesn't seem to be suffering from it, and he's always had it, so I'm not really treating it. I've tried eye drops, but they don't seem to help much. Second pic is a play pic (can't get a decent action shot with my iPhone)
.

Oh, Ivan is a beauty. I thought you were brushing his teeth in that second pic.
thanks; he's a gigantosweetiefurball.
Looks like it, doesn't it? It's actually a q-tip like thing (makeup applicator) he has appropriated as a toy. He likes to dunk it in his water bowl, and bring it to me to throw so he can fetch.
My friend has recommended MSM eyedrops for him--we'll see if those help.
lol. His collar looks like a dickie bow. What a completely charming kitteh.
Handsome. But Digr, is that still an xmas lawn ornament in April???
Worse. It's a deer hunting decoy. In April. Season starts in September.
Exhibit A: Eating stale pizza crusts a few hours ago
Exhibit B: Apparently dead on a sleeping bag in the family room RFN
...and he was out all night a few days ago.....
.
It's springtime, there's things buzzing, and clicking, and moving about, out there. They have to be investigated, if'n he's gonna protect the castle.

fuck protecting the castle, dude, pizza's here....
That was the reward for driving away the aliens, and things that go bump in the night.
I videoed him too, just to show how dead he was. I bet them aliens zapped his brain cell.

I SO wanted to join in the cat sleeping meme.
But my cat is not interested in sleeping if I am awake.
He'll sleep when I sleep or when I'm out thank you very much.
Mum gets to see him sleeping (when she checks he's still alive in the drawer under my bed) Me? It's not so much he wakes up when the camera whirrs on, it's that he wakes up the minute my molecules precede me into the room.
Currently he is downstairs, exploring. He knows the Mia cat is out somewhere, so he's scouting the house just to make sure she's not trespassing. He'll be up here and on my shoulder or on my lap withing 5 minutes.
I shouldn't complain - he's a perfect cat for a single woman. Very involved and involving. It just doesn't make for great photo ops when your camera is always further away than your cat.
yep - here as expected!
Atomic looks like he mats

'Ees not dead. He's pinin' for the fjords.
lol @ Jim
Cute overload on the kittehs!
Atomic looks like he mats
is that like felting?
nah, his fur doesn't get tangled, but he collects travellers and rolls in any piece of unspeakable muck he can find. Stupid animal should have be born a dog. Thank goodness he can sort himself out, apart from the occasional stubborn seed

No she meant 'he looks like a mat'. ha ha
Slick RF'n Saturday Night/Sunday Morning.
I just bought an old bow for the case and accessories. I think Slick approves of the purchase...

Passed out like a drunk... sleeping with his mouth open...
