This kind of Gremlin...
OK, it's not scientifically a Gremlin, it's a Pygmy Tarsier.

Three specimens of the pygmy tarsier, a nocturnal creature about the size of a small mouse, were trapped and tracked
this summer on Mount Rorekatimbo in Lore Lindu National Park in Central Sulawesi, Texas A&M University reported.

Before this year, only three specimens had ever been collected, according to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
Two were found in 1916 and 1930. The third was a dead pygmy tarsier that Indonesian scientists found in a rat trap on
Mount Rorekatimbo in 2000. That motivated primatologists to intensify their search for a live specimen of the species,
"but none of them were able to find it," Gursky-Doyen said.

The link provided no recipes, but I imagine roasting them over a large bonfire of endangered tropical hardwoods would do it. ;)

Gremlins need to be put in blenders. Or microwaves.

I guess what freaks me out is the fact that their eyes are so huge... and the rest of their face is teeeny tiny. Eeeeeeeeh... And not to mention the weird 'fur'. :thepain:

There are plenty of uglier cars than that, in my opinion, but naming it the "gremlin" ... as in mischievous imp that screws with the inner workings of something ... duh.

One of the pygmy tarsiers caught took a good old chomp out of the catcher's finger. Which makes me think they are smart little critters and just good at hiding.

Ok, looking at the size of the animal compaired to the hand holding it? That's one REALLY HUGE mouse! If that's the size of a "small mouse", how big are the mice in that area? :eek:

The mice in that area are GIGANTIC, that's what Mount Rorekatimbo means: Mountain of the Gigantic Mice.

Awww...the Tarsier is soo cute. In a freakish mouse kinda way. Looks so soft, too. Do they make Tarsier muffs...if so, where can I find one? Or is that considered inhumane and PETA will throw paint on me?

Yes, there are pygmy tarsier muffs. But only the females have them.:D
