Fuzzy Faces

Has anyone else noticed that HD news casters have a blurred "shield" over their faces? I'm assuming it's done to hide imperfections but it kind of defeats the purpose of me buying an HD television and obtaining an HD cable box. I'd feel even worse if I had to pay for HD channels.

Good I'm more interested in the news items than their plasticized, airbrushed mugs anyway.
:D

I've not noticed that, no. But that is really odd.

Perhaps it's just macular degeneration.

I'll guess compression by the cable provider?

They're about as bad as the politicians they try to cover.

How many days ago did you first notice this?

Only the face is blurred?

I first noticed this after the second presidential debate on ABC. The news anchors face's were heavily blurred out. I began seeing it more and more since then. If anyone lives in or around NYC and has HD tune into Gooday New York on Fox 5. You will see what I'm talking about.

I was joking. Thought maybe your "blurred" issue was because you hoofed the signal.
