What does your foot look like RFN?

This is a picture of my foot avoiding tiling the mudroom...

My foot looks like Sarah Jessica Parker. AKA..Sarah Jessica Foot.

You have some of the nicer looking guy feet I've seen, footfootfoot. Except you have three of them.
Juniper • Nov 6, 2008 12:46 pm
That's funny, I had expected his feet to be square.
Shawnee123 • Nov 6, 2008 12:47 pm
No, it's his hip that's square.
glatt • Nov 6, 2008 1:23 pm
You would think that he'd be taking a lunch break by now, and would be almost done laying that tile.
Shawnee123 • Nov 6, 2008 1:58 pm
Yeah, at this rate he's never gonna be able to check off that box on his list.

Here's mine.

Does that match your tin-foil hat?

Edit: that's funny - I posted this before seeing your picture here.

Here is the mudroom, ready for grout, avoiding my foot.
Shawnee123 • Nov 12, 2008 8:22 am
All things grout and small.
glatt • Nov 12, 2008 9:31 am
Very nice! Those look a lot like used slate shingles. You can even see the nail holes. That's a neat idea. I like the look.

Will you use a bag to do the grouting, or smear it in like with ceramic tiles?
classicman • Nov 12, 2008 9:45 am
I really like the rustic sort of look to it.
HungLikeJesus • Nov 12, 2008 10:22 am
Very nice, fff. Do you do hardwood?

Usually in the morning, but at other times of day too when the mood strikes.

Yeah they are used slates from a tearoff of an addition I built. I just smear the grout in as with tiles, but since the slates are so big I concentrate on the seams.

I like the variation in the slate, Even good ceramic tile looks unrelenting in its pattern.

@Shawnee: "All things grout and small." But you told me size wasn't important.:sniff:

F3, I absolutely LOVE the look of that! And it's supercool that the tiles are old shingles. --I'm hardly a treehugger, but I love finding new used for old stuff still in good condition. Rock on!

Did you have a 6th toe amputated?
Aliantha • Nov 14, 2008 1:13 am
Nope, we only have 5 toes on each foot in Australia...cept my Dad who only has 4 on one foot after falling off a ladder and ripping one off a few years ago. I'm sure there are others who've suffered similar fates, but in general, it's 5 toes per foot here.
