Yes, it'd be nice to have a gun now if you haven't already bought one but think about the ammo. More specifically, the components of ammo.

How much have ammunition sales increased? Rifle brass? Centerfire primers? Powder?

give it a rest, Merc. You're showing symptoms of tw-ism. It's rare, but unfortunately, it's not fatal.

Assault weapons ban becoming permanent and more far reaching is a legit concern.

Heat seeking bullet? Barrel shroud? It'd be hysterical if these ignorant people didn't have any political influence.

Yea, that will be the next target (no pun intended). Ammo and it's components will be attacked as a way to reign in the gun owner. That is if they can't do it through Congress.

Which is on the whole getting harder and harder to do, as the people are getting more and more libertarian about guns, and more knowledgeable about how disarmament abets crime and is essential for genocide.

[Btw, you get reined in, like a horsie. Not reigned in.]

At least there are no laws the ownership of weapons like my phased plasma rifle. I will melt any motherfucker that tries to take away my energy weapons.

The local rag today ran an article saying one part of the economy has gotten an immediate stimulus -- news reports say gun buying, particularly in gas-operated rifles, but also in all other types and in accessories like large capacity magazines, is way up across the board.

Yep, it's all over the news. Some places have seen a 40% increase in gun sales. Get em while you can.
