William Shatner

William Shatner's imdb page

I think William Shatner is really cool. I base this on what I have seen on tv, and heard on Howard Stern. No idea about what kind of a guy he is, and don't care really care to.... I just think he is the king of self deprecating boobery. It's really funny stuff. His priceline commercials crack me up, and the 'Homo Room' segment he did on Howard Stern

I love the original Star Trek!

I have loved him since Star Trek, I had a huge crush in him of course.

He is awesome in Boston Legal.

William...? Who?
Sorry, I couldn't see past the awesomeness of James Spader...
Undertoad • Oct 24, 2008 12:31 pm
Aw yeah, nice play around the "motivational" poster... Spader is indeed the awesome by which we judge awesomeness.

LJ, I went into cheese overload when I watched that. My cheese-o-meter blew up. Thanks.

When I was a kid, eight years old maybe, my dad took me to see William Shatner read Shakespeare selections at our local theatre. It was awesome!

But I wonder if it only seemed impressive at the time (like what happened with the Crane brothers in that episode of Frasier). I'll have to ask Dad now what he really thought of it.

I love the Spader. He always plays a great asshole. Steff in pretty in pink, was unforgettable.

I like it when he gets all snobby. Love it.

Shat-ner? mmmeh. Not so much.

I have been a MySpace friend of Shatner for quite a while now - he sends out tons of bulletins, many of which deal with selling bits of Star Trek memorabilia. I'd love to have an authentic dilithium crystal, but... still have to like him. Just not quite as much as he likes himself. ;)

Coincidentally, I have a DVD from the library at present entitled "Mind Meld". The content consists of Shatner and Nimoy discussing their friends, careers and lives. Really interesting stuff.

When I think of Shatner I think of his speak-singing...then I think of Leonard Nimoy and his record "Two Sides of Leonard Nimoy." Interesting.....all I can say is interesting. I worked at a radio station for a while and came across his record. I'm only bummed I didn't snag it. Pretty good conversation starter.
