This is something that I've wanted to do after playing a lot of video games. It's not the best artwork you've seen but for someone who's starting out, I think it's pretty good. I am also working on other things that I will later try and post. All comments are appreciated.

No, it just looks like someone's been playing with the gradient tool. But keep practicing, that's how you get good.
