youtube video battle polls

I'm starting this with 2 versions of the same song, but that doesn't have to be. You could do 2 songs by the same band, or even two completely different songs in different genres and in different languages, and all in between....

the thing is, you have to start a new thread and include a poll.

so for reference:

to include a youtube video link:
you need to capture the identifier code out of a youtube URL.

to do this, you go to the youtube video clip. as it plays, look up at the URL in your browser's address line.

there is a bit that has "watch?v=" and then"[COLOR=Red]En-cHBv7UpA[/COLOR]" or something like that....it may have '&feature=user' after that with no space.

you only need the [COLOR=Red]code part[/COLOR]

put these brackets around that code:
[ youtube ]

and

[ /youtube ]

no spaces.

then make sure you click the box to create a poll.

or whatever.

This is what messed me up when I first started trying to post videos (well, this and that I'm a total idiot about this sort of stuff anyway). I tried just doing a copy and paste job with your quote thingies up there ...BUT YOU HAVE SPACES IN THEM! I really figured because you are teh Lumberjim that you wouldn't already have spaces INSIDE your bracketing brackets.

Just sayin....:p

if you don't put the spaces in there, it tries to use them,.....thats why i wrote 'no spaces'
