Threads you don't get...

Shawnee123 • Oct 6, 2008 4:40 pm
I don't "get" this thread or this one.

I'm sure they are wonderful threads chock full of amazing ideas, but I don't understand them! I've tried, and tried. Have they won awards?

I used to only get a handful of threads, but ever since I got my new digital tuner I get like three times as many.
Shawnee123 • Oct 6, 2008 4:46 pm
Bwaaahaaaaaa...good one!

Hey, I should be getting my coupon any day now. Where the hell do you buy the converter box? I didn't see any at Wally World. Also, how much more does it cost above and beyond the coupon?

I don't know. I broke down and bought a new TV.

I think Dar posted a link to one he researched and thought was good. It's in that tv thread.

Oh, and now that you have a great new job, you should get a new tv. I LOVE my Panasonic. Although Homeless Guy would probably never leave, so scratch that.

Dar's recommendation is here.

If you want HG to leave, get a couple of big ferrets. It worked for me.
Clodfobble • Oct 6, 2008 6:30 pm
Ooh! Ooh! Tell Homeless Guy that you "won't be working at _____ anymore" and thus can't afford for him to live with you anymore. It'll be true!

I don't "get" this thread.

Sometimes I don't get what other people find so interesting in some threads. Most of them I get the idea though.

My threads take on a life of their own, just the way I like it!

Those are some funny damn pictures!

Strecth Armstrong and Stretch Monster were awesome! I hit my brother over the head with Stretch Monster, once. Then, later on, they broke open inside our toybox and covered everything in a thick syrup.
Shawnee123 • Oct 7, 2008 11:52 am
My younger brother had a Stretch Armstrong. We still have a couple SuperToes at my mom and dad's house. I love old toys!

Ha...that never worked in high school either, bucko!

HE: Hey, you kissed me and flirted with me and now you won't put out? You're a tease, and I'm telling everyone!

ME: eh, go take a cold shower.

Now I get it.
Shawnee123 • Oct 26, 2010 8:14 am
I'm happy for you. Four + years is an awful long time to not get any.
HungLikeJesus • Oct 26, 2010 9:18 am
It was only two years, wasn't it?
Shawnee123 • Oct 26, 2010 9:27 am
Heh. Yeah. Must've had my bad glasses on.

Carry on...it's been about that long since I got anything, too. (See post # 29)
HungLikeJesus • Oct 26, 2010 8:59 pm
But it seems like four years. I think that that's what you meant.
