I like swinging too. Sometimes I go with the kids to the playground, take off my shoes, and Wheeeee! Tire swings are fun too. And porch swings. I saw this really cool swing in Yellow Springs, this dude actually had a metal frame attached to the hitch of his car with a one-person swing lounger. I want one of those, so I can swing anywhere.

Methinks that AZ and OH might have very different ideas of gourmet take out. Besides, pictures in the menu are NEVER like what actually shows up on the table. I'd take my chances the old fashioned way.

I know of no one, not first hand, not second hand, not third hand that has any actual experience like this. They make moderately interesting stories, but no more.

I just don't grok the whole recreational, uncommitted sex meme. I can't separate sex from love. Love from sex, yes, there are several people I love that hold no sexual attraction for me whatsoever. But eros without agape...is incomprehensible to me.
A word: mere physical stimulation does not qualify as eros for me. A wet dream is no more love than a galvanic reaction is exercise.
I know I'm a serious fellow. And as far as serious topics go, sex is quite near the top. Along with commitment, respect, privacy, and monogamy. Casual sex is an oxymoron in my experience.

The bold parts are where I lose the connection. I just can't--I was going to say imagine. That's not right. I can imagine it. I could even imagine myself in such a situation. But even imagining myself in such a situation isn't stimulating without a loving partner. There's no appeal without including the love of my heart.
When you were involved with your partner, what made you not do it well? I'm in that same mindset. With a partner, whatever's mutual is open for discussion. But otherwise, no.

I didnt *play* well in the past, when I have been involved with my play partner because I get jealous, not raving mad jealous, but I do get jealous and then I get really insecure and worried....mainly because I have been cheated on in the past and those scars are deep.
Horse dude keeps telling me that we wont do anything that I am not comfortable with :D so its all good. I like trying different things, we have had a lot of fun in parks etc so far....tis fun

If I (some very different I) were involved in that scene, would I tell me (the current me) about it? Well, I guess that's certainly a possibility. Someone from that scene has told me about it, I don't see why some hypothetical me in that scene wouldn't do the same.
Your larger point is well taken though. My scene doesn't overlap that one. In this real case, it only touches it, here in this thread.

I don't disbelieve that more than two people have sex together. I don't think I said that anywhere. xoB sees it more clearly. I said I don't have any experience like this, or close friends with such experience. I called myself unimaginative, not stupid. I did jump in when the discussion turned to "pig on a spit".
When I expanded on my thoughts, I said I don't get it, that it doesn't work for me. I said love was the keystone to sexual fun for me, that mutual involvement with my partner was what flipped my switch. And that mutual focus seems to be the very opposite of swinging, casual sex, with one partner or more.
It doesn't bother me. But it is unknown to me.

We *watched*, I had....errrr....Aunt Flow issues. Which is weird, coz I have a Mirena and never get them, but I did.
