In Hunt for Bin Laden, a New Approach (note: the title is a bit misleading as it is more of a review of where we are, and how we got there. A pretty good read)

As if the general population of Pakistan doesn't hate us enough as it is. Now we're saying "fuck you, we'll kill these bastards if you won't inside your own territory. Try and stop us."

Oh well, you gotta do what ya gotta do.

I guess we're paying them billions for nothing then.?!?

Better get a good check up at your doctors first.

Didn't see the link edit -

But this part made me lol

Note: Canadian white people threaten to move to Europe.

Note: Europeans are unable to threaten to move anywhere.

Message for Mr Bush - stop acting as if other countries don't have rights. It pisses people off. Pissed off people (especially pissed off religious people) do nasty things.

Thank you.

Isn't this the same thing we did when we invaded Afghanistan in the first place? I'm sure the Taliban were fairly peeved when we did that.

Were you for or against the invasion of Afghanistan?

Personally I was against it, but it was easier to justify given that there was not a democratically elected Government.

As long as they are hitting the targets they are suppose to hit, I see no problem with it.

And not hitting the non-targets they're not supposed to hit. It's getting that bit wrong that really pisses people off.

But even if they manage that, even hitting the right targets, it will still piss off Pakistanis.
Suppose you're fixing your car/cooking your special meal/playing patience/ choose your metaphor. Some guy walks over and starts fiddling with the engine/adding ingredients/moving cards about. Even if he's doing it right, the intrusion/interference alone would piss me off. And if he fouls something up...

How do you think a Pakistani would feel about this. Sure, violate our sovereignty, kill a few of our citizens, ignore our weak and helpless government that is obviously the puppet of you western infidels... before it even gets to an anti-USA thing, this undermines the current government which is (presently) pro-western. This is a little like Cambodia in the early 70s. Not exactly the same, but similar.

And they have nukes, baby.

Piss them off until the pro-western government gets kicked out and replaced by a Taliban style government with nukes. Great idea.

It's a delicate balancing act. I'm not a fan of balancing acts.
