The dolphin/shark thing.

Flint • Aug 7, 2008 2:11 pm
Can somebody post a link to the thread where this happened? At least tell me the story.

[CENTER][INDENT]From the Tip Mug quote:
I wouldn't be surprised if someday some fisherman caught a big shark and cut it open, and there inside was a whole person. Then they cut the person open, and in him is a little baby shark. And in the baby shark there isn't a person, because it would be too small. But there's a little doll or something, like a Johnny Combat little toy guy - something like that.

"Contrary to popular belief, the most dangerous animal is not the lion or tiger or even the elephant. The most dangerous animal is a shark riding on an elephant, just trampling and eating everything they see."

well, hell. i'd like to be paid for sex, but i don't think paying someone for the nookie will result in others paying me, so i'm not sure if the rule applies there flint.

I think so. Funny how that's the real hidden treasure in this thread of mythical proportions.

I was surprised it was only three pages.

Thanks for the link.
Undertoad • Aug 7, 2008 9:58 pm
No, no, this was tw's first use and it was two years earlier.

I thought the dolphin shark thing was people taking the piss out of me because of something I said about a pic Bruce posted once. I'm sure he remembers which thread it was in, but I can't.

It's nice to know that I'm actually not that important.
HungLikeJesus • Aug 8, 2008 1:08 am
That's not true. You're important to somebody.

I haven't the foggiest.

Still no one has asked the obvious question.

At what speed would a dolphin, compared to a shark, be able to launch from a standing start off a treadmill? Who would be faster? I think the answer is obvious.

Oh well, doesn't matter then does it. Besides, apparently it's not my fault anyway. :)

Question:

Which is truer:

It's easy to be popular.

It's popular to be easy.
Aliantha • Aug 14, 2008 6:17 pm
It's popular to be easy.

eta: and around here, you're much more popular if you're easy.
