Usually when snakes get to that size their reactions are dulled. All it would take would be an unexpected event and the snake's systems would just shut down completely. Voila, one dead snake.

It's the human equivalent of a heart attack brought on by shock.

It gave me quite a jolt so I thought I would share it with ya'll. The snake really isn't that huge if you look at in perspective with the bolts on the steel. I think it is an olive python
