Hi Ya'll,
I'm back in the US at Camp Shelby, MS. I have been placed on medical hold, but it's ok. At least the Army has decided to "fix" me. LOL
Is this the hearing issue or did they try to look you in the eye, setting off a grizzly bear reflex? ;) Anyway, welcome home!
Welcome home, Sarge. Thank you for your service, and I hope you find your time here pleasant and restorative. You and your brothers and sisters at arms do hard, dangerous, important work. All benefit from your labors, even if some don't appreciate or acknowledge it.
Hi Sarge. I also thank you for your service, and I'm glad you're home.
Fixed is good... you'll save a fortune on condoms, now you're back among those southern bellies.;)
Even Mississippi in summer, is better than the middle east.
Welcome back - glad you made it safe and sound.
"...bellies."
WTF?
:biglaugha

Welcome home, soldier.
Job well done, now relax.
Hey. I'm not far from there. Well 60 or so miles.Slack time on hand? PM me.
Pics are required if you two get together!

No, bellies is exactly what I meant.:p
I have a previous cervical disc fusion that the Army is going to "adjust" (possibly additional surgery). Also, they are going to evaluate my hearing again.
I'm going catfishing this weekend. I can't wait for some fresh fried catfish, hushpuppies, and cole slaw. Heck, I might even have some collard greens too!
I *love* collard greens. I have a reliable recipe I like, but I miss the home cooking of my youth. I make pretty good cornbread and slaw too, but hushpuppies and catfish, not so much.
Welcome home mate. Hope you can join me on the retired roles soon.

There is evidence hither and yon on the Cellar that buster knows his way around food. If you've got a taste for some home cookin', I bet he could be talked into working some down-home magic.
