Medical manikins, actually.
Manikins (mannequin, is usually used for department store dummies) are used for medical training.



There is a butload of different medical manikins to train people on, since the variation in people is so great.
They make manikins that represent geriatrics, children, the obese, various traumas, and for specific procedures.

Even for cats and dogs. ;)



More of 'em.

So if the 3rd picture is for a cat manikin is the first one for a robo-cop manikin?

What are they doing to that cat? Neutering him the hard way?

and to prepare medical professionals for the coming zombie apocalypse, they offer the headless zombie manikin--very forward looking.

He's still trying to smile, what a fighter. Just inspires hope into those med school students, doesn't it?

And look - they even have waiting room manikins so Receptionists can practise glaring at them!

Although judging by Mum & Dad's faces I know where Junior's hands are...
