Bonfire with Pillows

It's been quite some time since I last visited this site. I have a new picture that I have photoshopped using a similar program to Photoshop. Again, the picture shows the destruction of bedding by fire. I found a picture of a bonfire in a forist campground firepit. I added in several pillows. Set fire to the pillows (OK -- Photoshopped the flames and char marks). Then I assembled the pictures to produce a fairly reasonable facsimile of burning pillows.

The flames have differing levels of transparency / opacity. Also, I was using only two basic flames that I repeated with different orientations (reflections).

Coincidentally, my name is Paul Syntes, CEO of the Syntes Group. I see what you did there.

Why are there roosters sitting on those pillows? They must be getting hot!
Cicero • Jun 26, 2008 12:33 am
So HLJ how do those "roosters" make you feel?
:)

Hello, Burning Pillow Fans!!!

I have a couple more "BURNING PILLOWS" pictures that I have photoshopped from normal pictures. In one, I show a beach bonfire where a bed (Mattress) has been tossed on a bonfire. I added pictures of burning pillows to the picture of the burning bed.

The other picture shows a fireplace into which I have thrown an old, stained, stinky, skanky pillow. This pillow is starting to burn briskly in the fireplace.

Finally, I have a couple of pictures I found on the internet of pillows that were found on the street. These pillows were spray-painted with the words "Dirt" and "Fart". I wonder if someone can photoshop these pictures into a bedroom scene??

Have fun :3_eyes: with these pictures!!!

Raise your hand if you care....

and to think we just got done with Emma
xoxoxoBruce • Nov 30, 2009 11:41 am
How can you compare Emma, to this pillow lover's normal, healthy, creative hobby, of bringing us fine art? ;)

Do not adjust your set... /sirling

I get a kick out of this guy. Just when I have completely forgotten about him, he posts 2-3 times and then disappears again. His posts are not offensive in any way. Just extremely weird. If he posted every day, I'd probably hate him, but once a year is fine.
classicman • Nov 30, 2009 1:47 pm
Ya know glatt, you're right.
Sundae • Nov 30, 2009 1:55 pm
I love him.
He wanders in, shows his pics, and wanders out again.

Once, years ago, my mom bought whoopee cushions for all the grand kids and of course they had a great time with them for a while. Eventually they were misplaced and forgotten about. Later, my nephew was trying to ask her what had happened to them but couldn't remember what they were called - closest he could come was farty pillows. "Where are those farty pillows you had?"

glatt • Nov 30, 2009 3:08 pm
I tried to google this guy, but my heart wasn't in it to do a proper search. I did find this though.

Is that the head of Satan on the middle pillow in the first EXCELLENTLY Photoshopped photo? Oh wait...it's a program SIMILAR to Photoshop. My bad. :D

Young Man: So, all your cakes are women going to the bathroom?

Baker: Yeah. What's your point?

Young Man: Well, don't you have anything else?

Baker: Maybe you don't understand - this is an erotic bakery.

Young Man: I'm sorry, I just don't find this very erotic.

Baker: A woman gonig to the bathroom, you don't find it erotic?

Young Man: No, not really.

Baker: Well, then, what, pray tell, would you suggest we do put on our erotic cakes?

Young Man: I don't know.. people having sex.. female and male genitalia.. you know, something like that.

Baker: Well, if that's what you're after, I suggest you try Hostess or Sara Lee!

I'm gonna go out on a limb, and say that's the weirdest thing I will read today. And it's early yet. (For me)

We're about due for another visit by PillowLover. I thought of him, because over the weekend I got a new pillow. I contemplated setting the nasty drool stained old one on fire and taking a picture, but I think it would produce a thick oily smoke from the plastic fibers inside. If it would burn at all.
jimhelm • Nov 15, 2010 11:18 am
you're a very thoughtful and considerate person, glatt
monster • Nov 15, 2010 11:23 am
I was wondering about old pillowface myself a few weeks ago. Can't remember why, though. :eyebrow:
Clodfobble • Nov 15, 2010 7:24 pm
I sleep on a specific type of neck support pillow that I got from my chiropractor's office. I love it. They do crush down over time though, just like any pillow. I'm about due for a new one. I won't burn the old one, though I'm not sure what to do with it--Goodwill can't take them for health reasons.
monster • Nov 18, 2010 10:57 pm
hide it in a bag under a pile of clothes.
Sundae • Nov 19, 2010 12:37 pm
Animal shelters might take it?
They take other things charity shops don't, like old bedding and towels. In fact they are crying out for it (not sure if pillows apply, but anything that can be used to make a pen more comfortable is usually sought.)
monster • Nov 20, 2010 9:45 am
that's where goodwill will send it when they find it  two birds with one stone.
Clodfobble • Nov 22, 2010 2:26 pm
Oh, it would be perfect for a little animal, it's got a big dent in the middle like a bedding pillow. Thanks!
